After ZeldaWii, would you mind having another Cell-Shaded Console Zelda?

Getting back on topic here, I doubt we will ever see another Main console Celda.

Why? Nintendo is a business, they may have some geninue passion for making good games but at the end they want to make profit too, Wind Waker caused ALOT of a fuss, yes a fuss gets attention and attention sells but it dogged the wind waker to this day of kiddyness, babyish, and all that are still attached to it, The forum members here may see past and too the game, but at the end of the day, I doubt the whole fuss is really worth it in the gaming community and nintendo's already getting alot of flack for babyish games atm.

Admittedly I never liked the WW Style, I dont mind Cell shaded, No more heros did it great, but I never liked the deformed men with stub feet and a hero with a hey Arnold football head into cubism holding a breadknife look.

There are 4 alttp styled games (If you consider TMC WW styled you might as well call LA and the Oox games alttp-styled)
There are 2 oot styled games
A new TP styled game is coming
what are you complaining about cel shading for?

Out of curiosity, what style would you consider the first games to be? A class of their own? And Four Swords/FSA? I'd say ALttP was a similar style to that. I would say it would be 4 LoZ style games (LoZ, AoL, FS, FSA) and 4 ALttP games (ALttP, OoX, LA)

I applaud the mighty N for going out on a limb when they made WW cel shaded. But once was enough, I don't ever want to have to deal with those goofy graphics again. It took so much from the game.

I'd definitely say it's mix of both the "toon" and "realism" ...or you could just call it anime-ish, based on the artwork of Link and the other characters in the game. ( Except the monsters. I get the feeling some one else drew the monsters, so they would look menacing... ) ...In my opinion that looks was perfect for Zelda. I wish Ocarina of Time's art style was the experiment here, and not TWW. I much prefer TWW style to Twilight Princess, but I'd much rather just stay at the original style the games had to start with. Maybe then the Cel-shading would be such a big deal.

I would love another cel-shaded entry in the series. Something about that kind of colorful, whimsical art-style lets the developers take a lot of liberties in character and setting design. Of course, why not try a more realistic cel-shaded title, a la Red Steel 2?
