After ZeldaWii, would you mind having another Cell-Shaded Console Zelda?

Most of the Major console Zelda games, however, are realistic.

Well. Out of curiosity would you want the console cel shaded game to have the same exact character design as The Wind Waker?

I'd be OK with another cel-shaded game, but it needs to be in a different style than WW. Toon Link has overstayed his welcome.

That's what I'm saying. I mean yeah, sometimes I wish that a certain Link would have a sequel or something...but 5 in a row is ridiculous. And the worst part is that it's not even the same Link, just a reused design.

I prefer realistic 3D Zelda games.

Either or is fine with me. I just like the more colourful invironments/characters. I think we may be due a new art direction with the Cel-shaded console games though.

I don't want cel shading because it can't do this. Mario Galaxy has realistic shading as in the lights and darks mirror the real world. I feel this is more beautiful and softer on the eyes in comparison to bright solid colors. Cel shading really has nothing to do with art design or brightness, but rather sharp cartoony coloring.

I want the next Zelda to be bright and beautiful, and I really don't think cel shading is the way to go with that. Looking at this picture we can see how capable the Wii is of making well shaded objects...the soft lighting, the feel of deptp. I wouldn't pass that up for mono colored shading. It's just not the same. And look at the water...come on, would you replace that with bright blue paint?

After looking at that, I rephrase what I want.
I want a bright and colourful Zelda. Celshaded or not, I don't want the dark and realistic like MM or TP.

Oh...okay. Well I agree on colorful then.

I would like another Cel-shaded Zelda after Zelda Wii. With souped-up graphics better than WW it could look very nice.

Here's a wierd idea: How about a cel-shaded game with an adult Link?

Cel-shaded? Well.. you can do different styles with cel-shading, so I wouldn't mind another Zelda with cel-shading.

If we're talking about WW style cartoon adventure, then sure - why not? In fact, why not create an entirely new Zelda team that would focus more on artsy, experimental games (WW, MM) and have another team create the OoT-style adventure with "realistic" graphics that everybody loves.

This is what they do with the Call of Duty series, one team makes the interesting and fresh games and the other team makes the boring sequels

If they were to do a Cel-Shaded adault Link, I think that would be the art direction they should go with IMO.

I agree, but I wouldn't mind a new console Zelda every 2-3 years

2/3 years is fine, just not every year. It would lose it's appeal if they released it that often.

Hand held cel shaded graphics are ****. They should of stuck to 2D.

I would definitely not mind a console cell shaded game though. WW is still the most visually impressive of the series.

Shadow of the Colossus, that's the graphical style I'd like Zelda to try the most (especially the beautiful lighting and blood).

I'd love to have another Cel-Shaded game, I think it'd be pretty cool on the Wii, but of course it won't happen because Nintedo never listens to their fans. :/ It'd be nice to have anotehr game like WW (difefrent storyline) on land. It'd be cool, nice, and just plain interesting. I'd buy it if they made one.
