Sheik in Zelda Wii

Everyone's looking for something new in the next Zelda Wii game, and although it's not new, I think Sheik could be a very good addition to the game if implemented properly.

Sheik played a large role in Ocarina of Time, but we didn't get to learn much about her beside the fact she was Zelda allegedly disguised as a member of the Sheikah. I say allegedly because I personally believe it was more than a disguise: her eyes change color, and also, Sheik has PECS. Seriously.

I don't exactly know how Sheik could be used in the next game, since Sheik was a disguise used to escape Ganondorf, and many are against Ganondorf's appearance in the next game. Zelda certainly could be escaping someone else, or have deeper motives besides being a rebellious damsel in distress.

So, in short: I want to learn more about Sheik. Great character that was way too short-lived.

Discuss.

They could make sheik an actual person.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

Maybe Sheik could be a Sheikah from the past which OoT's Zelda modelled her disguise on?

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

I don't want a revisit from Sheik, however a Sheikah character modeled on him would go down perfectly. Just out of interest, I love how Zelda's transformation into Sheik is a subject of contraversy within the Zelda fandom. There is nothing quite like the possibility of full magical sex change in the context of Hyrule.

I understand theorizing, but hasn't ZWii already been confirmed to be after TP, which has already confirmed to be after OoT?

I don't consider it very controversial, I was just shocked since for the longest time I thought it was just a disguise until I realized Sheik's...manly characteristics. I don't doubt that it could be a full sex change, I just want to know how, which is why I want expansion on Sheik in the future.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

Maybe a dungeon played as both Sheik and Link? Perhaps something sort of like RE4 with an "Assignment Ada" esque side quest for Sheik fans could work.

As for working her into the story, it's not too hard. Zelda wouldn't even have to be disguised as a Sheikah. Maybe the plot of Zelda Wii can be centered around the Hylian Royal Family's betrayal of the Sheikah. That could actually push the storyline far back enough for the Master Sword to be a spirit and not yet a sword.

I'd actually be really interested in seeing a ton more of Sheik. The character is boss.

No it was confirmed that it could take place anywhere in the timeline.

Didn't they already confirm that there was no timeline?

Then if it's supposed to take place in the timeline, wouldn't it raise more questions than it would give us answers?

There is a timeline! Explain how the split timeline could be confirmed if there wasn't one! Now that that's over...every game raises questions but it also gives us answers on how things fit together.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

going on the idea that there is a timeline, shouldn't the Sheikah be able to appear in practically any game that's pre-TP?

No any game that's pre-OOT considering even at that point in time the sheikah appeared to be almost extinct.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

I just hope that Sheik appears. I love her design in Super Smash Brothers Brawl and if they can use that and improve it, then no doubt she'll look awesome.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

I personally wouldn't mind the return of sheik he was a mysterious and great character + I would find it awesome if they could clear up why and how the Hylians betrayed the sheikah.

Is that just because Impa is the only one you see in OOT? The Sheikah are supposed to be an extremely secretive race, so we probably wouldn't really see any more of them than "deemed necessary" Not to mention, It seems to have been a very long time since OOT in TP, so it seems odd that a race with only one or two individuals would be able to last so long.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

It would be hard to bring the Zelda sheik back, since Ganondorf(if he is the villian in Zelda Wii) already knows who she is.

Re: Sheik in Zelda Wii

My Theory it's that Sheik it's a body that Zelda's spirit takes over.
Sheik could be a recently deceased corpse or a host.
But Sheik was or is a person.

nah, if Zelda Wii it's in the CT, Ganny won't know.

Fantastic idea. This would be wonderful to see! I'm actually hoping this happens. As a note, wasn't Sheik supposed to appear in TP? They used her design in Brawl.

Yeah, they made a model for TP Sheik and everything, but since it didn't really fit into TP, they just used it for Brawl.
