Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
Why no Ganon I think he is awesome nothing beats an awesome graphic Ganon Battle. I beat the TP Ganon every day it is in my Schedule XD
MM is the greatest Zelda game next to OoT I loved the Dark Atmoshpere and you being able to play as different Species Zoras, Gorons, and Dekus. |

Plus I like watching TP's amazing end credits. But back to the topic (...hehheh) I guess I wouldn't be too disappointed with Ganondorf, if the antagonist could be unique and evil, like Zant (before his meltdown, that is). While I liked Majora's Mask, back when I first played it, the "possessed mask" idea didn't really do it for me. But now, after playing through the game more, it actually seems even more evil to me.

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
haha i think to make people happy, they should bring Ganondorf back in a game. but we dont get to battle him. instead, a more powerful creature rses into power, then defeats Ganondorf, stealing the ToP from him.

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
Nintendo can come up with amazing new villains, as they've shown before, that can be put in as the main antagonists in future LoZ games. I belive there's a possibility that Ganondorf can be a supporting character for Link in the future, because I thought about the whole distribution of the Triforce and the Goddesses wouldn't give them to evil-hearted people. There could be an untold story of what drove Ganondorf to be so power-hungry, be it a risk brought with the ToP or whatever it may be.
If he's in the next LoZ, he can get a little more attention and be given some more lore on what made him so bad. In WW, I haven't played it but I've seen it on Youtube, he showed a softer side, which may foreshadow a future grouping of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. Not the most likely notions, but he should stay, if they take him out temporarily, I know Nintendo will do wonders again. |

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
I personally think that the Zant-neck snapping thing might just have been some dramatic symbolism.
Maybe just depicting this once super powerful guy finally succumbing and becoming an even lesser being than the one that used to serve him. Thus one, figuratively, gaining control over the other. I'm probably wrong though. Perhaps what happened was supposed to be taken literally ![]() |

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
Zant's snapping of his neck was probably symbolism of how he relinquished his power from Ganondorf since he was defeated by Link and couldn't fight anymore (because he moved too slow, did too little damage, instead of trapping Link, he trapped himself with Link who's a better swordsman than him, and he doesn't practice). Seriously, it was epic, but easy.
Back on topic. If this next LoZ takes place after TP, it may have a new villain, hopefully a never before seen one. |

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
Judging by that piece of released art for Zelda Wii, I'd say it's quite possible Ganon/Ganondorf will be in it. Though this depends whether the "Master Sword Girl" is only a spirit and the blade itself doesn't make an appearance or not. Bleeh...
What I mean is, if there's a Master Sword, there's a Ganon. |

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
So LA, MM, FS, FSA, TMC, and PH aren't Zelda's? That's half the series right there, buddy.

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
...OoT Link is also MM Link, and why would he be finished? hes still a damn child you think he retired that early? He could easily be reused as an errant hero. And you know, that whole finding Navi thing was left unfinished, hopefully for a reason other then open ending.

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
If the Link in Zelda Wii is OoT Link, then Ganon probably won't show up. Then again, if the girl in the Zelda Wii poster really is the Master Sword, Ganon's probably gonna be in it (Like Navi C-Up said).
Ganon probably not ST though. Ganon's never really been in a handheld game; they're not important enough. I'm more hoping Vaati will be in ST. I wouldn't mind if Ganon was in Zelda Wii. But Ganondorf needs to go on vacation for a bit and let some new villains have a turn.

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
^In my opinion, Ganon has to be the main badguy. When he doesn't have the ToP or the whole darn Triforce, he still has enough power to be stronger than other villains. So maybe in a Zelda game Ganon might be challenged by another bad guy and maybe team up with Link for a bit, but he should always be the final threat.

Re: No Ganon in Zelda Wii?
I don't really mind, Ganny or not.
If not, I just hope that it's an epicly insane villain. ((similar to Zant, but doesn't actually act like he's on crack)) If he is, lets just hope he's as awesome as he was in all the other games. ![]()
