No Ganon in Zelda Wii?

yeah I hope Ganon isn't in the next game, but I hope the next game is still relevant to the storyline and not like PH, MM, or LA, where, at the end of the game, "it wuz all a dream! how conveinietns!"

EDIT: AM i the only one who HATED MM? It had no story (no more than LA), it was all about sidequests (that would be erased in the next 3 days... actually almost everything you DID would be erased in the next 3 days) , and it happens in a world with characters copy pasted from Hyrule's characters (except they ARENT hyrule's characters). And like all other "sidequest games", it had NO impact on the overall story AT ALL.

And this next game has the master sword, so I'm somewhat sure it will happen in Hyrule, or be related to it.

MM is probably my favorite LoZ because of how the game made you want to do all the sidequests for the Terminians and then to save them from their seemingly inevitable doom. No story? Each of the 4 regions have a story, along with the overall plot. Anyway, to each his own and no offense.

No one really knows if there will be a Master Sword in the upcoming LoZ game. How can you be so assertive on that?

It wasn't that Majora's Mask had no story, it was that the story was told through various techniques that very few games have ever used, like non-linear progression and a great deal of optional goals. The focus wasn't so much on an arch from begining to end, such as many other Zelda games, but the interactions that Link made with the people of Termina, and the people of Clock Town. The fact that everything was erased is frankly insignificant; didn't you still experience it?

Granted, it's not for everybody, but It's still a great game, and is most certainly one of (if not the) most unique entries in the series.

Also, on the subject of Ganondorf; He's dead in both time lines folowing Ocarina of Time, so It's definitely possible he wont come back. Whether he does or not I don't really care; He's a great villain, but Nintendo have certainly created other engaging ones in the past. Majora, Zant, etc.

i think he is still alive in the WW timeline, he just needs to be revived and such. so i think he can make a appearence once again.

I think there are some developer quotes saying he is dead somewhere. And yeah, I'm sure he could be revived, in fact he has to be at some point.

yeahh, there is, but i could of swore that he still had the ToP in his hand at the end.

in fact, it's stated on some site that it is. idk if thats truthful though.

Nah, the King used the whole Triforce to flood Hyrule and make his wish, remember?

What if there was a FOURTH Goddess? But she did something bad, and had her piece erased from the TriForce, and she was wiped from the history books, and now she wants revenge?

I mean there's a Goddess of Earth (Farore), Fire (Din), and Water (Nayru), so this "Fourth Goddess" would be the goddess of air?

Not that Nintendo would ever do that ... *shuffle* *shuffle*

At the end of TP, what really happens to Ganondorf after Link stabs him at the end of their battle? It switches scenes to Zant, and he cracks his neck or something, then changes scenes back, and Ganondorf's eyes go blank and he stands there solemnly. I didn't quite get it.

he loses the ToP at the end of TP, then it shows Zant like snapping his neck. i think it was just to show that Ganondorf is really dead on that timeline. it was never really cleared up i dont think

Ganondorf loses his piece of the Triforce, becoming mortal again. As for the whole Zant thing, I don't really know. It's never really been made clear.

Maybe it's because I'm sentimental when it comes to Ganondorf, but I want to see him in the next game. However, I still want the game to be original. I don't want to go through a lot of temples collecting some item that will lead me to Ganon, and then defeat him in what was once Hyrule Castle. If this is a "traditional" Zelda game, I fear that that's what might happen. I want to see Ganondorf, but with a new spin on him.

How can you tell he lost the ToP? Is it because his eyes when blank, thus showing that the ToP wasn't giving him anymore power or something of the sort?

I think that the only reason he would have lost the Triforce of Power would be to close off that side of the timeline from any future Zelda games. Otherwise, what would be the point? But I do think that TP Ganon did lose it. That was the most death-like end Ganondorf's ever had!

alittle bit after 0:25, it shows him losing the ToP, then it shows Zant doing the neck snapping thing.

edit: rewatching this video, i think it was Zant who was keeping Ganondorf alive. like his spirit still rested inside him. and Zant was the only thing keepng Ganny from death. so when Zant snapped his own neck, it killed the now mortal Ganondorf.
