Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
Nothing, seeing as we haven't even seen a bloody trailer.

Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
No poll option fits what I forsee for the next Zelda Wii. With the course Zelda has been taking, I expect a watered down, family friendly, overly easy excuse for a Zelda game.

Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
Do you people not listen to miyamoto at all? He just said in the recent interview that accessible gameplay means that you know what link can and can't do. Of course, it won't be as hard as the older games, but go play WW and TP again and see if that REALLY is a problem for you. Or actually, the puzzles could be harder, if they use the hint system-thingy. If I want to play a hard zelda game, I'll play AoL

"Accessible gameplay means that you know what Link can and can't do" - Is it just me, or am I mentally disabled? I can't understand this one bit. "Know what Link can and can't do." What??? I seriously think Miyamoto needs to revise his English.

Maybe provide your interpretation as well?
Is it just me or if the Future Zelda forum suddenly get a bit dead in the last day or so?

Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
I don't really know, if we get another Twilight Princess then I'm pretty much done with current Zelda. I've been playing the older games for years, they haven't gone stale yet. Wind Waker is an exception, I love it so much.
It feels like Nintendo is trying to put more "Oot" into Zelda then "Zelda." I'm not liking this wanking off to the fan base Nintendo has been up to lately, the fact they copy pasted Adult Link into another game doesn't give me much hope(I was hoping for a new visual style). Then again, I've been pretty pessimistic this generation because of how uninteresting it's been all around, not just Zelda included. So far my hopes for this game are pretty non existent.

Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
better combat definately, but I hope they don't dumb the entire game down for that... I mean if it still has a long play through and is combat focused, it would be fine, but it would be HORRIBLE if they made it a quick Gears of War-like 10-20 hr run through...
Like I wouldn't mind if it was puzzle light and action heavy and had a long runthrough, like Resident Evil 4, that would be amazingly awesome. But then again I don't play Zelda for the puzzles, I play mainly for the exploration (adventuring), the story, the combat, and the puzzles that aren't really puzzles (figuring out how to cross a giant lava pit, figuring out how to get past a giant rockwall blocking you from your objective). I hate the puzzles that are just some blatant bull the devs tacked on, like pressing blocks in a certain sequence for 1 hr to get a dungeon key |

Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
The only thing I really expect is that the game will have better graphics than any other Zelda game so far, and the girl in the concept art poster will play a major role. That's it. I can't say anything more about it, because nothing more has been revealed.

Re: What do you expect from Zelda Wii?
I'm kind of hoping for more voice acting. Not actual words, but definitely more sounds indicating certain emotions. Or maybe one word here, one there, like "yes" or "okay" because...well they already did that, but more of it.
I would like to see a balance between nostalgic Zelda and something totally, off-the-wall different. Despite the interview, I think it's possible that we'll be surprised with at least one cool, new thing.
