Wow, of all things... I know people have said it, but it only makes sense for Link to be right-handed in a game played with motion censored controls... Who wants to hold the Wiimote in the right hand, but have Link hold his sword in his left... doesn't make any sense. Maybe there will be an option so that lefties can enjoy the game too?

If people could just suck it up, there wouldn't be a problem.I played threw TP perfectly fine with the Wii mote in my left hand. It didn't really fry my brain becuase Link looked backwards. There seems to be a lot of people out there that think it would just be so hard if Link didn't completely mimic them, when really, it doesn't effect the gameplay at all. It's just a cosmetic.

Link has always been a lefty, and should remain one IMO. It's lame that they've changed it for one game. But then again I'm left-handed myself, so my opinion isn't that strange. As we lefthanded people are a minority.

If Nintendo wants to please all the people who're playing Zelda games, they should at least create an option to choose whether Link is left or right-handed for the upcoming Wii-game.

It's only then that people won't have the need to complain on whether Link is left or right-handed.

The chauvinism in this silly post makes me whimper.

Re: Right Handed?!

I don't think Link being right handed has a deeper philosophy in it. It's just because of the Wii controls.

You do know that he was right handed in the wii version of TP, right? This should be no surprise

Re: Right Handed?!

Shigeru Miyamoto is left handed. He made Link right handed in the new one because everyone holds the wiimote in the right and the nunchuck in the left, even Miyamoto. Doing the opposite would be like holding a GCN controller upside down, it doesn't feel right whether your left or right handed.

Making Link a lefty this time would force them to make the nunchuck the center of sword control.

And they could have done that too. Instead they decided to just make it the spin attack. They could have done it though. I'm not so sure about the next Wii zelda though, since it will use Wii motion+
