The girl's/Master Sword's/Fairy Queen's attitude

I put girl/Master Sword/Fairy Queen to prevent any arguements over this new character. So far all we know about her is that she plays a heavy role in the game's storyline. Most of us are assuming she's Link's helper this time around.

On thing most people notice is how in depth each new partner is getting. From Navi to Tatl to Tetra/KoRL to Midna to Ciela/Linebeck there is more and more character development, and stronger backstories. I want to know, just from the little we know of this character, how she will act.

This is how I already picture her, well I have several different pictures in my head. =\ Anyways, I basically see her as the opposite of Midna's attitude. Midna was the one holding the leash throughout the game. She was dominate, mischevious a bit of a witch with a B. And let's face it Tetra and Tatl shared the same traits.

I think this new character will still be just as mysterious as Midna originally was. Maybe more timid and frail, growing stronger as the game progresses.

If she truely is the Master Sword she should be wise and powerful. Holding a lot of ancient wisdom and charm. Perhaps talk all high and mighter all the time. Maybe saying a few riddles, or maybe every other sentence will be a flippin' prophecy or very cryptic. Extremely judgemental on what is evil and what is good...she is, after all, the Sword of Evil's bane.

If she is of any relation to the Fairy Queen...then I expect her to be just as initially flirty as she was in TWW. xD Looking at the drawing she doesn't look like a humorous character at all. But I don't know.

to see this mysterious first be totally surprised, I felt that this little being who seems to be the master sword was introduced in my mind XD ever since I could not stop thinking about it, I think it looks a little fragile, but to look very powerful! I am concerned about its seriousness and yet I love ^ ^ q I am sure will be a great character as was Midna. can only hope that we have prepared this great game. ^ ^

Wow... I really like your views on her.

I agree with what you said... She does look like the timid type that will grow stronger as your progress through the game, like how Colin (is that how you spell his name?) in TP grew stronger.

I hope she isn't flirty... That will just kill it. :/

As long as she isn't the typical Tsundere like most of Link's partners have been, I'm fine.

Lol, yeah lame pun. But it is so very true. I really hope this character lets Link be the dominate one, I love Midna, but less bossyness will do just fine.

She looked meek and reverent. Maybe she will be wise, like the Deku Tree.

She seems to be very stoic in the picture. But Nintendo likes to make Link's acomplices sassy, so we'll see...

Maybe she will end up as a girl who takes her role too seriouss and will soon filled with selfdoubt about her task and she will think in the end, that her involvement made it even more worse for everyone. You could consider this kind of person as a Angsty Sue.

Oh one thing... I know how she will end up as Master Sword permantly. She will do the same like Raziel of the Soul Reaver Series for Kain.

I had a big long detailed comment but when I sent it the site messed up and it got erased... I don't feel like retyping it so I'll summarize. Link's partner has always been a huge ***** until you get to know them throughout the game. Hopefully this new person won't be that way. And I sort of hope she isn't a tag along character, but more of a Zelda-like character. I guess it all depends on what she is. I doubt the Queen of Fairies would follow Link around. But it would make sense for the Spirit of the Master sword to... what if the Queen of Fairies IS the Spirit of the Master Sword! That's kinda what the famous artwork hints at. I wonder if there are any hints in past games... anyway, if she IS the Master Sword, her personality could ruin the Master Sword for everyone... so hopefully she is unlike the past girls in Link's life....

My guess is she will be serious, wise and intelligent.

I am hoping however they don't make her seem vulnerable just because she is a girl. If she is the Master Sword (which I am pretty sure she is) then she should be powerful and able to hold her own in battle

I hope they really go into depth with this character and would be even cool if she was playable. I am just saying. People say that this blue girl is suppose to turn into the master sword. That's cool man. So link will no longer carry a sword but call on the power of the master every time he gets ready to fight. Sounds interesting.

I she'll either be like the Fairy Queen or a Deku Tree TP Zelda Mix

I just hope that they do give this new character a good backstory, but I want the storyline to flow smoothly and there should be a strong emphasis on Link's character as well. In TP it was like - focus on Link for this part of the game, then focus on Midna and completely ignore Link like hes not even there etc etc. Ganondorf didn't even mention Link or talk to Link in the last cutscenes, but he could fight you.... That can't happen this time around. And if it does, I'll go as far as to say that they need to start making Link speak.

Also, I don't want the game to be focused on just the one character, where one character has a strong development and all the other characters have weak developments. There should be a number of characters - Link, Zelda, this new character and a main villain and maybe someone else and maybe some other guardian spirit that all have equal character development that is very strong.

I hope that she will be the following:

Wise
Calculating
Speaks in riddles
Can relay messages from the Goddesses (oh yeah THAT would be BADASS)
NOT Sassy
Have voice pieces like Midna did.
Ethereal
And if she is the Master Sword, a really cool plot twist.

maybe her plot twist would be that she turns into the master sword right before the final battel and can't change back. Then the main boss would have to address link

I agree ZeldaBlue, she does seem very frail and meek. In my mind, i'm thinking she may of lost her memories or something, so she may seem rather helpless. But I can imagine her being a weak character, who, like you mentioned, develops over the course of the game and becomes a stronger being.

I hope she possesses child-like innocent and naivité, but perhaps has also some sort of hidden potential neither we nor her know about until later in the game. Waaay to early to tell, but it's fun speculating anyway.

I kind of imagine her as a Galadrial from Lord of the Rings type of character. Just by appearance alone, I couldnt see her making smart remarks to get a rise out of Link the way Midna did.

she would probably be kind-hearted, well postured type of persona, with a hopefully well done backstory that makes us look at the Master Sword as more than just a powerful inanimate object.
