Re: Hyrule Casle Town In The Next Game

I must admit I actually liked Hyrule Castle Town in TP (purely from the presentation). It was a very pretty town, I liked the music, I liked that there were many people.

But that there was so little to do in the town just sucked ! But this was a general problem of TP. There was almost nothing to do in Hyrule once the light was brought back.

The new Castle Town could be heavily influenced by the TP version, but this time there needs to be more interaction with people, more things to explore and more to do in general. Other than that, I was quite happy with the TP Hyrule Castle Town.

I want to be surprised by every visit to Hyrule castle town.
Double A, I agree with you completely. What I envision is not unlike the Twilight Princess castle town -- tight-packed, lots of people, lots of buildings -- but we should be able to talk to those people; we should be able to enter those buildings. And yes, there should be the pointless characters and rooms that do nothing to enhance the plot, but then there should be the mini-games, the side-quests, and the mysterious (yet wise, and often hilarious) old men with lore to explain.

And yes, there should be multiple levels to this city (at least two-stories), and rooftop/balcony jumping is a must.

Re: Hyrule Casle Town In The Next Game

1)A kiosk that can be rented by Link to sell goods that he collected on his journey... you could stand there all day if you wanted to and make money by selling your goods to the people who pass by... or when you're gone, you can hire someone to watch the store, and when you come back you can collect the money(of course you would pay him like 15%)

2)The ability to play along with the musicians who entertain the crowd.

3)The ability to take on the paid role of a guard at night to watch over the castle town and prevent crime, it will be a major plot device later

4)Different events (and people) depending on the day you go there and depending on the time of the day.
