Do you think Link should have more upgrades?

I agree that the rings should come back. Only change it up a bit. Make it so you can equip more than one at a time, for one thing. This could create some very interesting strategies, since there's a selection of over a hundred rings (though most of these are fairly pointless, novelties more than anything) that you could mix and match with. Also, you should be able to carry more at any given time. But other than those changes, I would love to see the rings come back. They were one of the main reasons that I love the Oracle games as much as I do. Seeing them in 3D (or hell, even another 2D) would be awesome.

hm. idk, probably like the same powers as the ones from the oracle games. and that would be awesome! i would want more rings that turn you into different species again, or at least disguise you.

I'd like transformation rings

I want it to be more like an RPG where Link gets upgrades in attack, defense, speed, and magic (Link already has health upgrades, hearts). There should also be armor and equipment (like gloves and hats etc.) as well as more weapons and swords for Link to wield. For example, the flame sword deals extra damage against Deku and Zora, but does minimal damage against Gorons. Or the cursed armor gives you nearly impenetrable defenses but your speed is drastically cut. These are just a few examples, but IMO, this would make Zelda fun again.

I too would want to see rings that carried over from the Oracles. MM proved that transformations can be fun and worthwhile, so seeing something like this again would be fun. Transforming into an Octorok or a Moblin (yes, this happened in the Oracles ) could open up new attacks and whatnot, and could add a stealth element to some parts of the game, as you could sneak past your enemies.

Kudos to the mention of your OoT style magicks being used through the rings.

Also, some attack rings (such as the punch attack in OoX) would be cool to see.

All in all, this could add a wide variety of gameplay elements to the game, and, if you could equip more than one at a time, would bring a whole new element of strategy as you find good and bad ring combos.

haha i loved turning into enemies, just because i thought it was so fun! and the tranformations would be like the ones from MM, but to me, they would look like when Ben 10 transformed to his heros in the original cartoon(not alien force). The punch ring would be (please excuse this) kickin'! haha. oh, and wouldnt it be neet to have more than one transformation ring on and create hybrid monsters? i guess that kinda going over into fanfic though>_>

Hybrid monsters is a little out there. Besides what would they look like! I just had a mental image of a humanoid octorok shooting rocks at you while wielding a bokoblin club
