My New Zelda Game

Wouldn't it be so cool if you were evil? That you were trying to save Ganon from the Good Queen Zelda? it's what would happen if Ganon found Link before Zelda or somebody else did. You would look like Dark Link, and have a corrupted Master Sword. I'll continue later.

There's no challenge in being evil. Everyone can burn villages, rape the maidens, eat the children and let the moon crash on earth. Well, the last one is not so easy, but the rest definitely is... I don't like all those ideas of playing Ganondorf or even Shadow Link. Shadow Link in a multiplayer mode would be nice, but besides from that not really.

I mean, what's the point? What are you doing as a bad guy? Certainly not saving Hyrule. And Ganondorf usually just sits somewhere in a dark castle and letting his minions do the job. How would a game like this look like? Like a strategy game ala "Dungeon Keeper", where you have to create evil dungeons, where Link can't get through - actually this sounds pretty fun, but your idea doesn't imply any mechanics like that. What would you do as Dark Link? Waiting somewhere in a room until Link gets up and kicks your ass with cheap fire spells and hammers? Not fun.

I actually like the "Dungeon Keeper" idea, trying to make Hyrule the worst place in Zelda-verse. Did anyone came up with that already? I mean, there are like dozens of "I have a game idea where you should play as Ganondorf" threads, but I never really checked any of them...
