Non-official ideas for Future enemies

The forum already has a thread for bosses, but what enemies would you like to see in the new games? What abilities would they have, does it appear as miniboss, where do they appear? Post your ideas here. (Unless mod locks this in about 5 minutes)

--------

Shadow
Habitat: Forsaken mountains, Relic city
Shadows don't show their real form, only their shadows. To defeat them, hit the spot where the actual enemy is to make it seeable. Shadows hit does ½ heart damage. If shadow hits light, you can see it's real form.

Floating spear

Habitat: Forsaken mountains, Ironworks
Floating spears are really what their name says. They hit their enemies with greatest of ease, and are very skilled. Use your sword techniques to defeat them. Spears thrust does ½ heart damage and swing 1 heart damage.

Grievous spirits
Habitat: Flames Den, Spiritual Palace
Grievous spirits are unseeable. They take pots and items, inhabit them and then shoot out to their victim. This hit does ½ heart damage. You must hit the items they are using with boomerang. Alternatively, you can destroy every item in the room so Grievous spirits cannot harm you.

Crablin
Habitat: Spread around the overworld
Crablins are very weak, and usually die to a single hit from a sword. However, they often appear in groups. Hit them from the front, the back is covered by its shell. Hit from it's stubby scizzors does 1/4 heart damage.

V olhm
Habitat: Thunderous river
Volhms appear during thunderstorms. They are sparkling enemies whomove swiftly. If you run into them, it deals ½ heart damage.
Volhm can be stored in a bottle quickly after killing it. If it's then stored there for night, it becomes spell that locks into it's target.

Re: Create-an-enemy -topic

Flamos/Glacios- New incarnation of Beamos with two eyes, and shoots flames/Ice...

Parasitius- Functions more of a "performance enhancer"-- It is a bug that falls from the sky or from the ground and whatever enemy it touches mutates into a more powerful, enhanced version... It would be wise to kill it before it has a chance to infect an enemy.

I also propose a new class of enemies capable of poisoning Link.... being hit a certain way by these enemies would cause Link's health to slowly deplete until he either dies or drinks a bottle of antidote.

Poison Bulbin- Obviously they shoot poison arrows at Link

Poison Moblin- Throws poison javelins at Link

Poison Bubble- Floating skull that can poison Link upon contact

Toxos- Immobile creature found in dungeons that slowly emits poison fumes that both cause damage to Link and cloud his vision, making it harder to see.... Usually found in the corner of a room, it takes the shape of a large glowing skull and crossbones
Takes multiple hits to kill, but be careful other enemies are going to be on your tail as well

Re: Create-an-enemy -topic

Thought out some new ones bit harder this time.

Skeletal warrior (*****)
Habitat: Ganondorfs tower, Tower of shadows, miniboss in Unknown Ruins (The miniboss is little harder than usual, being little faster and having more armour)

Skeletal warriors are amongst the powerful creatures of Huryle. While they have sword and shield, they also have armour. They can also handle their weapons very well. The only way to beat them is to hit their metallic shields with Magnet claw while equipping Iron boots. This causes them to lose their shield, which prevents you from hitting them. They are also very aggressive, and can deal great amounts of damage. Basic hit from sword of these already deals 1 heart damage. Jump attack deals 2 hearts damage, so if the adventurer has only one life, he will die. They can even use their heads to smash to the adventurer. The adventurer must dodge this by sidestepping from their way. You cannot bomb these because their bones are incredibly tough.

Their armour is very tough, and none can hope to penetrate it. That's why the adventurer must hit through it piece by piece. And even without shield, it's impossible to hit them unless you get in while they have been stuck from attack. Because Skeletal warriors carry helmets, you cannot stun them. By removing their armour, they become increasingly faster. The adventurer must now hit through the defences of these. If they manage to split it up, sword hits to the head kills them.

Wizzrobe (****/*****)
Habitat: Gerudos pyramid (purple) as miniboss, temples after that. Whites can be found around the overworld after you have aquired bow.

Wizzrobes come in two colours, white and purple. The white can only fire energyballs, but the purple can summon enemies.

The white one fires either fireballs, which do 1 heart damage, or cursed fireballs which do 1 heart damage but also makes the user cursed, so he cannot use any items for 5 seconds. They can also fire electric balls which do 1 ½ hear damage.

The purple ones can fire the same energyballs as the white one. But they can alsocreate enemies. They can create Floating spears, Skeletal warriors and even new White wizzrobes. Purple wizzrobes fireball is also stronger, dealing 2 hearts damage.

Wizzrobes teleport around the arena to confuse their enemies. They are weak to arrows and boomerang hits. If they teleport close, they can be also hit with sword.

Re: Create-an-enemy -topic

Corpse Puppet
Habitat - In some of the world's less cheerful places, such as the Cullis Cemetery or within the Entombed Spire.
Threat - Moderately Low
Attacks - Scratch (1/2 heart), Cleaver (1 heart)
Appearance - They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but they all share similar traits. All of them are mostly skeletal with some remnants of flesh clinging to the brittle bones. They wear ragged clothing, though some may don pieces of armor. All of them are capable of blocking attacks with either a shield or their weapon. When this occurs, a shield bump or a parry move is needed.

Corpse Puppets are created by infusing dead bodies with dark magic. The necromancer then controls these bodies as if he were a puppet master. Corpse Puppets are rather frail, and can usually be felled with a few good shots from your gun or a few good hits from your sword. Bombs are also excellent as crowd control.

Corpse Puppets never stop spawning, so the only way to end their threat is to eliminate the necromancer. Once you do, they will stop appearing.

Corpse Puppeteer
Habitat - Normally in the same places as Corpse Puppets.
Threat - Moderately High
Attacks - Dark Magic Orb (1 heart), Dark Lightning (1/4 heart per second for 4 seconds), Dark Fire (1/4 heart per half-second of exposure), Staff (1/2 heart)
Appearance - Corpse Puppeteers are dark creatures made from concentrated sinister energy. They all take the form of a small child wrapped in bandages and wearing a sort of tattered robe. Their hands and feet are bound in chains and they carry a gnarled scepter.

Since Corpse Puppeteers float, it is difficult to hit them with your sword, so resorting to ranged weapons is necessary to defeat them. It takes roughly five shots from your gun to destroy them.

When combatting a Corpse Puppeteer, it is important for the player to recognize certain signs that can offer some insight as to which attack the enemy will use. For instance, if the scepter begins glowing purple, the Puppeteer will use the Dark Magic Orb. If it's suddenly enveloped in purple electricity, the Dark Lighting attack will most likely be used. If it suddenly catches on fire, the enemy will use Dark Fire. The only attack that comes without a warning is when the Corpse Puppeteer hits you with its scepter. The only way to avoid this attack is to keep your distance.

Some Puppeteers are invisible, and only reveal themselves after your dog has sniffed them out.

Minions
Habitat - Several dungeons, usually as sub-bosses of sorts.
Threat - Very High
Attacks - Charge (2 hearts), One-Handed Axes (1 1/2 hearts each), Two-Handed Sword (3 hearts), Dark Magic Orb (1 1/2 hearts), Dark Forcewave (2 hearts, plus knocking you down), Gun Fire (4 hearts)
Appearance - Minions are the equivalent of the Iron Knuckle or the Dark Nut in this particular story, and are roughly the same size. They are hunch-backed creatures with thick manes that are usually braided and dyed. Minions carry one of four weapon sets: two axes per hand; one large sword and a shield; a large, intimidating scepter; or a large gun. Regardless of the weapon, Minions are clad in heavy armor that can only be damaged with explosives.

Depending on the weapon, Minions can attack at two ranges: the double axes and the sword attack at close range, whereas the sceptered and gunned varieties are more adept at ranged combat. To combat one range, you must adopt the strategies of the other. Minions will however correct the range problem; if you get too close to a ranged Minion, he will retreat in order to put some distance between you and him; on the inverse, if you are too far away from a sword-wielding minion, he will likely charge toward you in an attempt to close that distance.

It should be noted that all of a Minion's attacks are incredibly damaging, especially earlier on. As such, careful planning is needed in order to emerge victorious. Remember, a Minion is nothing more than a large, dumb animal in armor; outsmart it.
