Re: What are you more hyped for? Zelda: Spirit Tracks or Zelda Wii?

definetly Zelda Wii because i like the more darker, realistic side of the series. The cel shaded games are good and should stay with handhelds IMO. Plus Wii MotionPlus compatibility would make for some sickass 1 on 1 sword fights

Really, what people consider 'innovation' for Zelda games tend to be nothing more than the most tedious or controversal aspects of the game. Refinement and proper execution matters more than innovation and sheer concept. So far, no Zelda game has really ever done both at once, at least not well, but if there ever were to be one like, then that Zelda would have my vote for best Zelda ever. Calling TP an OOT rehash is roughly the same as calling ALTTP an LoZ rehash.

But seriously, if Zelda Wii's controls are going to be anything like the sword swinging in TPWii, which is the most overrated use of the Wii's controls btw, then I'd be looking forward to it that much less even with the Wii motion plus. Not to say that I lack any kind of faith in the Wii motion plus; Red Steel 2 seems to be putting it to pretty heavy use. If anything, that Project Natal thing on 360 seems like a bigger load of bull than Wii ever was.

But like anything, I'm not gonna pass off any real judgement on Zelda Wii until we're given more than a piece of vague concept art.

Considering that Zelda Wii is built specifically for Wii, I'd say that the risk is minimal. TP Wii was after all just a "last minute port".

i am more hyped by Zelda Wii than ST, just because ST doesn't seem to be something awsome like WW or MM, good but not that great...Zelda Wii i don't know yet....but i rather hype for a main console game...it might be easier for me to get.

Zelda Wii, but I'm always more interested in the console games.

Zelda Wii. I haven't played a handheld LoZ game so I don't know how they play differently to console games, and the train in ST doesn't look like the best Zelda idea to me. Zelda Wii looks like it has a lot of great potential.

Majorly Zelda Wii!! TP was SOO much better than PH (to compare the latest games on the consoles).

What? That makes no sense at all, how is thinking of adding a train into the game count as ignorance?

Do you even know what ignorance is?

Zelda Wii for sure. The zelda spirit tracks for DS looks like a game for the younger zelda fans, and there is nothing wrong with that especially if it gets a new generation of zelda fans excited about the games. But as for me I am looking forward to the Wii game.

Re: What are you more hyped for? Zelda: Spirit Tracks or Zelda Wii?

Course...I'm more excited for Wii Zelda, one picture was able to make me obsessed.

But, even though I seem to be showing little to no interest for ST, I really can't wait to play it. I kinda want to know where the story will go in this game. And I actually enjoyed every level in PH except for the Temple of the Ocean King...so, yeah.

Re: What are you more hyped for? Zelda: Spirit Tracks or Zelda Wii?

It is actually quite possible that Zelda Wii will come out in 2011. Not to mention that the logo is silver and that 2011 is Zelda's 25 Anniversary.

Zelda Wii. Because stabbing with the Wii-mote feels more powerful than stabbing with the stylus.

That's the most convincing release date argument I've ever heard.

My agreement appears sarcastic, looking back at it, but I mean it.

I agree, it would make sense for Nintendo to want to release a new zelda game around zelda's anniversary. Which would be fine with me especially if their was some special anniversary edition with some amazing extra stuff.

Re: What are you more hyped for? Zelda: Spirit Tracks or Zelda Wii?

If ZWii is coming out in 2011 than it might be the seventeenth not the Sixteenth. My reasoning is two years will give them time to make another handheld Zelda for the DS(probably a sequel to ST).

Re: What are you more hyped for? Zelda: Spirit Tracks or Zelda Wii?

Personally I'm more hyped for Spirit Tracks. I guess cause we actually know a little more about it, and it's coming out this year, so I'll feed my Zelda craving a lot sooner than with Zelda Wii. Plus, I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass very much, I felt it was an enjoyable experience. And,of course, THERE'S A FRICKIN TRAIN!!!! go childhood memories!
