I was thinking of what Nintendo could use as a plot for a Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass sequel, other than Spirit Tracks. I remembered that at the end of Wind Waker Ganondorf is frozen in stone by the master sword.
I was then thinking of many ways he could maybe escape that cold, stone, underwater prison of his. I thought of Skull Kid, Zant or some other idea until my friend reminded me of Bellum's ability to turn people into stone. I thought "If it can turn people into stone, maybe it can unfreeze them!" I finally concluded that maybe in the sequel somehow Bellum would be resurrected, somehow escape the "Dream World", and come to Ganondorf's aid. The two would then seek revenge on the islands of Hyrule and then Link would have to appear and stop the two of them. I actually thought this could be a nice plot for the game after Phantom Hourglass/Wind Waker. I might have forgotten some small details such as "How Bellum returns" or some other things, but I still want to see what others think of this.

Re: WW Sequel Plot Idea
Well I think it makes no scene. At all. First of all, why would they work together? ganondorf might use bellum as a boss (for the first level), but bellum is cake compared to ganondorf. Second, bellum ran out of soft potions, so he can't make stoned people become unstoned. I think it would be better if we kept PH as tWW's only sequel.

Re: WW Sequel Plot Idea
Just because he has a sword in his face doesnt mean that he is dead.
seriously, how many other times has Ganny come back to life? although i dont think Bellum would ever show up in a game again... but if he did bring him back, and following your theory and Master jedi's post, i think that Ganny would just destroy bellum after he saved him.

Re: WW Sequel Plot Idea
Ok, well you know, this is a zelda game. and ganny has been in the majority of them. so its not like,"oh, i killed him! now im sure he will never ever come back!" zelda games dont work like that.

^^^
hahaha. funny stuff. and yeah, he did get stabbed in the chest in TP. so if he is officially dead in both timelines, then maybe there will be a new main boss! yeah, because the zelda team would totally just replace the main boss.

Re: WW Sequel Plot Idea
I do know how Bellum would revive himself. It's just a thought. He probably would have the ability to clone himself considering the fact he drained most of the Ocean King's life force, which could contain Oshus's powers. Oshus was able to clone himself, so wouldn't Bellum be able to do the same? He would then possess or overshadow his clone, and be once again ready to threaten the world with his vile powers. By the way, if you have already read my therorizing of him, I'm not very pleased with it anymore...

b) Have we ever seen an actual resurrection of any kind? No, we haven't. Not a single one. Until we do, we might as well assume that there's either many Ganondorfs or that the storyline really isn't connected like some believe it to be. It's very interesting how people seem to ignore this fact. They just see him in another game and assume he got resurrected or something, despite there being no actual evidence for any such happenings. Bellum's also dead. And I...don't really see how all of the Ocean King's life force can change that at this point. So no, I don't think this would work out. At all. Edit: Forgot to point this out. Actually, no, Vaati didn't really return in any explained way. He wasn't resurrected or anything, he's just a huge plot hole. |

a) Explain why Ganon didn't die when he was stabbed in the face by the Master Sword in Ocarina of Time. b) Yes, in fact, we have seen an actual resurrection. Did you ever play/heard of Oracle of Ages/Seasons? Did you ever play and then die in Adventure of Link? And no, Ganondorf has usually either been "sealed" or revived somehow. So, while there are probably multiple Ganons, up until Four Swords Adventure it wasn't too much to assume there was only one Ganon.
