So the faster your heart beat, the more aroused Link is? Or using it for the hidden threesome scene with Zelda and Midna. Oh ****, I said too much. I was suppose to keep quiet during Miyamoto's Round Table.

Also, here's a non-sexually suggestive idea: Using the Wii MP as Link's T.V. remote.

Sorry, it isn't possible.

How would you attach another device to the Nunchuk? They could barely make Wii MotionPlus attach to the Wii Remote.

Bringing out a "MotionPlus Nunchuk" would require a complete replacement of the current Nunchuk, I don't think it would be a good idea to announce such a thing and force people to buy another gadget.

Nicely done.

I dunno, it looks to me like the device sits between where the remote and the nunchuk connect. They both might benefit from this thing.

Unless you've read otherwise. I can't find much info on this thing other than a picture.

Re: Non-combat uses for MotionPlus?

AndyZX, I don't want to come across as an annoying know-it-all, but I have been looking into the MotionPlus attachment since its announcement.

You're right. The Nunchuk connects to the MotionPlus while it is connected to the Wii Remote. However, the gyroscopes in MotionPlus only detect motion in your right hand (or left hand if you are a lefty) as it is attached to the Wii Remote. The Nunchuk can't benefit from this as the Wii can only know what you're doing with the left hand by reading the input from the Nunchuk's accelerometer.

The Nunchuk could only have the same accuracy as the Wii Remote (if we don't count the pointer functionality) if Nintendo decided to release a new Nunchuk with built-in gyroscopes. The only other option would be to create some strange add-on device á la MotionPlus with a cord that plugs into the Wii Remote and then you somehow wrap the Nunchuk's cord around this device and make it so that the Nunchuk and the new device are attached - just like the Wii Remote and MotionPlus are attached. So you would have Nunchuk > New MotionPlus > Wii MotionPlus > Wii Remote. I don't think it would work well.

I think would be easier for them to make an entirely new Nunchuk with built-in gyroscopes. The consumer would never know the difference between a regular Nunchuk and a new MotionPlus Nunchuk as the current electronics inside don't take much space and the added gyroscopes could probably fit in there as well.

Unfortunately, I don't have any sources to back this up as not much is written about it (as you mentioned), but you'll just have to trust me on this one I hope this clears up some of the confusion.

LOL You didn't come across like that at all!

I've just recently started looking into this Motion Plus, that's why I'm so full of questions. It should have been obvious to me that the nunchuk would need it's own gyroscope. duh!
