The Official Create-A-Zelda Game Thread

Here you can say what your future dream Zelda game will have in it.

To keep things simple, i have made up 6 different slots that need to be completed for the "game" to be unveiled completely.

story: story plays a key role in some zelda games. you will have to tell the story from prologue to ending and tell any twists in the game.

NEW ITEMS: these items have never before been seen in a Zelda game. tell what the item is, where you got it from, and how its used.

Bosses: Just name off the boss in order with the dungeons

Main quest: what is the quest for this game?

Side quests/minigames: no game is complete without these.

DUNGEONS: this is where you will decide the order of the dungeons in the game.

extra: put a title before you begin the task of putting up a long post.

EXAMPLE:

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: NIGHTMARE INVASION

Story: When darkness falls, a Hero rises... but just when you thought it was all over, A new, more powerful evil comes and takes away what is yours. Now who do you trust?
Link heads over to the Light Temple to complete his training. Zelda tells him afterwards that a new evil is in the seven Tribes Temples. Link goes and defeats the evil within.
Then, the real evil appears and takes over five of Hyrule's sections. Link travels to each section, believing that it is a very easy task. No. It turns out he has to sneak into the dungeon, find the keeper of that darkness, and kill him.
The final boss goes down. Link is alive, barely. Then, a dialog box appears saying You think it's over?

Main quest: Go to each temple and defeat darkness within.

Side quests: Assassination: after the 7 Tribe Temples are complete, using the Hero's bow+ Lens of truth+ Hawkeye+ Sheikah Mask combo, kill any evil beings without being spotted.
Race: race down snow with yetis
race in the sky with ooccas
race in the waterwith zoras
Gold Mine: battle your way out of the Goron Death Mountain Blaze nad the Gerudo Fun and Easy Training Ground (lol)

Dungeons:
Light Temple
Fire Temple
Ice Temple
Forest Temple
Spirit Temple
Water Temple
Sky Temple
Shadow Temple
Dark Forest Temple
Dark Fire Temple
Dark Water Temple
Dark Sky Temple
Dark Temple

Bosses:
Lava Golem Burstfire
Abonible Snowman Yeterin
Forest Queen Venus
Poe King Spirita
Water Chu Liquida
Stone Statue Argora
Shadow Beast Shacklesaur
Nightmare Guardian Demise
Nightmare Archer Darkness
Nightmare Magician Mayhem
Nightmare Beast Rider Shadowpain
Nightmare Leader Destruction
All these bosses are bosses of each and every one of the dungeons, so the Nightmare bosses are not the same ones, but different.

New Items:
Black Hand: allows wielder to use a sword to cut through shadows
Light Items: Light Shield, Light Arrows, Light Mask, MSOL, Light Armor, Light Magic, Light Bombs, Light Wings combined they create an armor like no other.

The Legend of Zelda: Flute of awakening

Story

In a small village, known as Dinora, lives a young boy named Link. Link is swordsman and known as a good worker too. One day, a stranger, very dark one, travels through the village with his mighty horse. He steals the most precious item in the village; the Flute of awakening. Link is sent to get the Flute back. He races to the Tower of shadows. In this tower, he meets the rider who stole the flute. The evil reveals, that he is Ganondorf. He breaks the Flute into 4 pieces. Link must now search for these. The pieces are spread across Huryle. One is in the bottom of ocean, in Zoras den. One is in the highest peak of all, in Ritos mountain. One is found on the deep darkness of Korok woods, and one is in the middle of a desert, in gerudos pyramid.

When Link has gathered the last piece in the peak of the pyramid, Ganondorf appears. He takes Princess Zelda, and now goes to Tower of Shadows. He also puts a seal in the door. This seal can only be opened with Shadow key. The key is split into 3 fragments, and now Link must searck the pieces. The pieces are spread to Icy valley, where Temple of Ice is. One is in the Fiery mountains, where Temple of Fire lays. And one is in the other side of the time, deeply fallen underground, the Unknown ruins. When Link has the key, he can enter the Tower of Shadows. He must go all the way to the top. There he found Princess Zelda. Link plays the Melody of awakening to her, and she wakes up. But now Link notices, that voice is heard from the skies. Zelda dissapears, and Ganondorf speaks. Link must now fight Phantom Ganon.

Link knows that he must now go to the eternal dephts of Ganondorfs tower. After clearing all the obstacles, he notices Ganondorf. He creates a massive warrior, standing as tall as Ganondorf himself. Link must fight this Ghost warrior, which is controlled by Ganondorf. After tough fiht, the Ghost disappears. Ganondorf appears and now starts to fight with Link. Link finally slashes Ganondorfs head with Master Sword, and Ganondorf disappears to dust. Zelda appears and finally ending credits start to roll.

Main quest

Find parts of Flute of awakening, go to Tower of Shadows and collect the three Key shards. Then go through Tower of shadows and finally beat Ganondorfs tower.

Side questes

Bowmans trial
After cleaning Gerudos pyramid, come back to the far northern side of Gerudos desert, and you'll find this minigame. You must shoot 10 different targets around the desert without hawkeye. If you do it with 20 arrows or better, you'll score yourself hawkeye. Perfect result gets you big quiver (60 arrows). When you have completed this perfectly, the challenge is more difficult, as the targets are more further away, and there are 15 of them. Complete this perfectly and giant quiver is yours. Later scoring 25 or better results you purple rupee. One try costs 15 rupees.

Trading quest
After cleaning Ritos mountain, come back to the second tallest peak. You'll notice a lonely shopkeeper. He tells that there's nobody that buys stuff in the mountains. You then have to bring him 2000 rupees (In total), so he can start his business in the grounds below. After you've done this, he tells that he has no suply. Search for five merchants around Huryle, and pay 300 rupees and they join the merchant. When all five are in the shop, you can buy Magic armor with 1000 rupees. It protects you from damage costing you your magic.

Bombers test
After cleaning Korok woods, you can go to the east from the woods to the coast. Here you'll notice a cannon and a man who manages it. You must shoot moving battleships that go around the screen. there are 10 of then. If you shoot them all down in 30 seconds, you get the Big Bomb bag. Come back, and you'll notice that this time you are in a moving boat, and the targets are further. Clear this within less than 30 seconds and the Giant Bomb bag is yours.

Fortunetellers bones
After cleaning Zoras Den, you'll notice that there is a lonely Zora out there. Talk to him, and she tells that she has lost his bones, and can't be a fortune teller before she founds all those bones. If you find all 30 bones, you'll receive Heart Piece, and she is again in her business.

Music club
In Huryle town, you'll notice a building which has musical sounds from it. Join the orchestra with you drums. You must play constantly harder melodies. You'll also notice one day, that the Violist is away. You must find him in the Korok forest. This way you can play the Huryle song (LoZ theme, requires some skil). If the playing was good enough, you'll notice that outside the club is a big group of people. From the audience pops many hearts and a heart piece.

Well of trials
In the center of Faronas village is the main well of the village. After getting fire arrows, Link can drop to the cave. As usual, in the bottom is 50 floors of battles. Completting all of these will result Link a piece of heart. Also, in here are two of the fortunetellers bones.

Fix the bridges
After clearing the unknown ruins, you'll notice that in Nordins village there is a man who is sawing and hammering all the time. He tells you that there are many bridges between Nordin and Dinora the path is broken in many places. You must now fix the bridges in the way to Dinora. However, in the path there are lots of enemies. Many arachers with Fire arrows. If these hit the bridges, they will burn and Link has to start again. If you can recover all the bridges (6 in total, it's long path, but after fixing you can get through it very quickly), not only the path opens, but you also get heart piece from the postman that is traveling around the overworld.

Obstacle course
In the Dinora village, after you have recovered FoA, you can speak to a man near ranch. He will challenge you to a race around the Huryle field. If you answer yes, you'll get transferred to Huryle field. You'll notice alot of Fences around here. You must get around a path to the bridge to Huryle town. Be aware that there are lot of enemies in the fields. IFy ou complete it faster than the man, you'll win a song, that allows you to call your horse everywhere you want. Later races will earn you purple rupee if you win.

My idea is about a game that's before the Great Flood. This thread explains how it is possible:
The Legend of Zelda, Deluge Trigger

Re: The Official Create-A-Zelda Game Thread

THE LEGEND OF
ZELDA

The camera fades in on a small village, set amongst lush tree covered rolling hills.
Snow caped mountains can be seen in the distance.
There rocky faces towering high overhead,
cast shadows on the beautiful cabins bellow made of stone and hand carved woods.
Along the tree line just on the other side of the river, sit’s a small grain mill.
Many of the villagers work here Preparing the harvested grain from fields below in the valley.
Many young children help there mothers with the daily chores.
Some milk cows, some tend to the gardens, others help with the laundry and tidy up around the houses.
Right now is no time for rest, soon winter will arrive, and there is still much work to be done.

As the camera pulls back, the true beauty of the village of Hylian Falls comes into focus.
The endless forest of trees looks like Waves of golden fire,
red and orange leaves dance about as the cool autumn wind rushes through there branches.
The grass still vibrantly green sets a stark contrast to the color of the ready to harvest fields of golden corn and wheat.

Slowly the camera turns and dives towards the river like a hawk going after its prey,
pulling up just as it reaches the water.
Along the shore line, frogs can be seen bellowing out there tunes while families of ducks float near buy.
A turtle slides into the water from the shore and a dragon fly sits perched atop a cat tail.
The water is clear and schools of fish can be seen swimming down stream trying to make it back to Lake Hylia for the winter.
As the camera moves along, taking in the surroundings, the sound of the towns men working in the fields can be heard in the distance.

Moving just above the top of the grain, the camera soars across the open field.
It is late in the after noon and the sun is seating behind the men,
only there silhouettes can be seen.
The camera swings to the left and the sun disappears behind the mountain.
There in front of the camera is a young man with his back turned,
He loads a bushel of wheat in to a wagon and wipes the sweat from his brow.
He turns to face the setting sun and the light radiates off him,
the camera swings around again and there stands LINK.
He faces the setting sun for a moment then turns and walks away headed towards the river.

The camera catches up with LINK at the river where he is splashing some water on his face.
He stares at the water; listening to the current for a moment then gets up to leave
when something catches his eye.
A shiny spot in the water, bright as a star in the sky on a cloud less night.
Thinking that he is seeing things LINK rubs his eyes and looks again but there in the water is the object. He grabs a stick and tries to poke the object but it’s just out of reach.
He gets close to the edge and stretches out, ahhhhh! Splash!!! Link falls in the river.
He comes to the surface flailing his arms and coughing. He wipes the water from his face and looks at the river bed. The object is gone.
He scours about but sees nothing, convinced that he had imagined the whole thing Link goes to climb back on shore and sees the object again, but this time it’s farther down stream.

LINK runs along the shore cutting threw trees and jumping over down logs, while keeping his eyes on the object in the water.
With all the brush in the way he is having a hard time keeping up so he dives into the river. Swimming along with the current LINK gains speed and catches back up with the object but just ahead is one of the many waterfalls on this river.
With some hesitation LINK swims right to the edge and jumps,
falling fifty feet to the river below.
He stops to reacquire The object and sees the light coming from a rock under the waterfall.

Link swims up to the rock and there stuck in it is a broken shard of a sword blade.
He tries to pull the shard from the rock but it stuck and will not come out.
The shard is radiating a bright blue light.
LINK tries again to pull the shard from the rock but cuts his hand.
He grasps his hand tightly to try to stop the bleeding,
but he is cut badly and blood drips into the water.
The blood swirls around in the water and covers the shard.
LINK stares at the broken piece of sword, and it explodes with a blinding light,
enveloping LINK and everything around him.
He reaches up to cover his eyes and the light goes away.
He drops his hands slowly and looks at them, the blood has stopped and the wound has healed. He looks at his hand in disbelief
Then looks back at the shard.
LINK reaches out his hand and grabs hold of the broken piece and pulls it from the rock.

LINK takes the shard and walks back to the village.
It is night now and everyone has gone home.
As he approaches his cabin The village elder appears from a doorway and calls out to him.
“Link is everything all right?” he asks “you had us worried “
“You disappeared for awhile and didn’t finish your chores.”
LINK tells him he is sorry and he will finish his chores in the morning, then heads off to bed.

During his sleep LINK has horrible nightmares. Visions of grueling battles with beasts,
He sees the master sword broken by an evil power and scattered throughout the land.
But the vision of a dark figure awakens him in a cold sweat.

Enter the spirit of the master sword,

“awaken LINK do not fear me”
“I am the spirit of the master sword” she says “You have awoken me from this shard, you carry”
“Your blood is that of the hero of time” “Fear not what I am about to tell you,”
“A dark power will soon arise from beyond this realm and none who walk upon this land of Hyrule can stop it,”
“Only the hero of time can call the spirit of the master sword, LINK you are that hero”
“YOU must seek out the 11 remaining pieces of the master sword and rejoin them, only then will this land be safe from evil”
“I can show you the way but I can not retrieve the pieces that power lies only within you”

So from here you don’t have a sword, you start out the game with a bow & arrow, boomerang, and a shovel.
In each dungeon you acquire a new item to help defeat the boss and one to help find the next piece of the master sword.
Also in order to restore the power to master sword LINK will have to find the pieces of the triforce.

This is just a start of an idea so please let me know what you think, constructive ideas are always welcome.
Thanks for reading, Christopher P. Taylor 6/6/09...

If Argorok_Slayer really wants to lessen the emphasis on "New Zelda Wii" topics, then wouldn't it make a TON more sense to encourage each of these ideas becoming individual topics?

And if squrbit thinks it's nice that people put so much thought into it, then shouldn't they post it in a topic where these ideas might have a chance of being read?

And in case ya'll don't know, I've already come up with a couple of Zelda games that have gotten a good number of posts. Search for "item system" and "Imprisoning Wars."

Re: The Official Create-A-Zelda Game Thread

WARNING: Extreme Sheik fanboyism!

I always thought it would be cool to have a game where you play as Sheik during the 7 years Link is in the Sacred Realm. After all I'm sure everyone wonders what Sheik could possibly be doing during those seven years. (This would most likely be a DS game) So here's my idea.

Title: The Legend of Zelda: Seven Years (Not very creative, I know)

Story: After Impa and Zelda escape from Hyrule Castle, they flee to an abandoned town somewhere. Once there, Impa tells Zelda that she must create her own alter ego. Impa dawns her as Sheik and begins training her in the way of the Sheikah. You would play through a couple days as kid Zelda and learn how to use your Needles, Deku nuts, and Bushido. Once this is done then it fast forwards six years into the future (During the past six years Impa trains Sheik). Sheik is now about 17 and once Sheik awakens, Impa gives her the ancient Sheikah clothing. Impa then tells her about the Triforce of Wisdom and its powers. Sheik uses these powers to change her eyes/skin/hair/possibly body to become the Sheik we all know. Impa then tells Sheik that Link will awaken in one year and it is up to Sheik to guide him. Impa tells Sheik of the songs of warping and their uses. Impa tells Sheik where these songs can be found and that Sheik must learn each song and teach them to Link. After a bit more of talking Sheik heads out to Hyrule field where from there he/she must head out to learn each song.

NEW ITEMS: Needles, Rope, Kunai, Dagger, Bushido, Sickle, Sai, Grappling hook, Deku nuts, and Axe (For power). (This game would be stealth based so some items would differ)

Bosses: #1: Guardian Sheikah (A giant statue of a royal Sheikah which awakens and attacks once the harp is grabbed)

#2: Moblin Cheif (A giant Moblin which carries a long staff with a club on one side and a spear on the other)

#3: Torch Snail (A giant being made up of several Torch slugs. You must beat the being until it separates into all the individual torch slugs and kill them each off one by one)

#4: Leviathan (A long snake like beast which resides in Lake Hylia but escapes into the water temple once the water level lowers)

#5: Platinum Knuckle (An iron knuckle made up of much stronger armor and a tad larger than the normal iron knuckle. Plus he duel wields axes)

#6: Possessed Impa (Impa is found at the end of this temple and is possessed by the undead in the Shadow temple, she then uses moves similar to Sheik's to try and kill Sheik)

#7: Phantom Ganon (Phantom Ganon is fought as the final boss. He is much stronger than when Link fights him and has a second phase on which he rides his horse around the Temple of Time attempting to run you over/ slice you up. He also possesses a few new moves like throwing his spear and creating multiple black holes which try to suck you in and equal certain death if you are pulled in)

Main quest: Sheik's main quest would be to travel to all of the adult temples (Forest, Fire, Water, Spirit, and Shadow) to learn all of the songs that he/she must later teach to Link.

Side quests/minigames: Side Quests would consist of helping people around Hyrule. As you know, Ganondorf is taking over and with Link gone someone has to aid these people in need. Minigames would be with Impa. After all, Sheik must have learned all of his/her ninja moves from Impa, so with Impa you can have target practive with your needles, and stealth practice (which would be trying to sneak up on Impa without getting noticed) Plus tons of other fun games.

DUNGEONS: #1: Sheikah Temple: The Sheikah temple will be a temple hidden somewhere in hyrule. In this Temple, Sheik will fight redeads and other seemingly undead enemies. At the end of this temple Sheik will find the his/her harp in which he/she will teach the warp songs to Link.

#2 - #6: Forest, Fire, Water, Spirit, and Shadow temples: In each temple Sheik will go through an area of that particular temple that Link never goes through. Sheik will fight similar enemies as Link does for each temple and at the end of each temple Sheik will find that temple's song engraved on something. Each temple's puzzle designs will be massively different from OoT's and include mostly stealth based puzzles.

#7: Hyrule Market place/ Temple of Time: Although this really isn't a temple, it will be the last area of the game. After learning each song, Sheik will head out to the Temple of Time to await Link's awakening. On his/her way there, Ganondorf will be appear and summon hordes of enemies in Hyrule Market. Sheik must then ninja his/her way around all of hyrule market place and kill all of these enemies stealthily. After that Sheik will go to the Temple of Time where he/she will be confronted by Ganondorf. Ganondorf will talk of obtaining the triforce and of Link and then summon up Phantom Ganon to fight Sheik (Ganondorf will then flee). After defeating Phantom Ganon, Sheik will enter the Master Sword's resting place and stand behind where the sword is placed. Then Sheik will say "Hyrule needs you more now than ever, I shall wait for your awakening and when you awaken I shall show you the way. The Master Sword has chosen you for a reason. I know you won't let us down. You are the hero...the hero of time."

http://www.zeldauniverse.net/forums/...ink-dying.html

thats a game idea about Link passing away.
Its basically a prequel to Aura Pulse's game idea.
Theres probably some things wrong with it, but hey, what game doesnt have it's faults.

You are the hero...the hero of time."

oh wowwow.
i think this would be a nice fill-in game.
i would def. play this!

The Legend of Zelda: The Valley of Blood

Story: Link is sent on the toughest journey ever. A mysterious man known only as the sorcerer revives 14 of Link's worst enemies. This is so that the dark god can be ressurected and do the damage that the godesses stopped.
Link begins in a new version of castle town called Hyrule City.
He can go around to the different areas, but cannot leave the city.
He heads up to the castle. there Zelda awaits and the two set off for the museum.
At the museum they take the time to look at all the relics from enemies that have died at the hands of a Hero.
Then, a man walks up to them. It is the Triforce of Power Bearer. the three begin discussing the different relics when The sorcerer appears and creates a barrier that renders the three invisible and makes them immobile.
He walks over to the relics and begins to chant an ancient spell.
Then out of nowhere 14 bodys appear. They are the 14 that the Heros of past defeated.
They were Dark Link, Ganondorf, Zant, Nightmare Destruction, Nightmare Shadowpain, Vaati, Onox, Veran, Agahnim, Twinrova, Nightmare, and Majora.
These 14 took there relics and partnered up with another villian.
They all set out to there respective areas and stood there ground there.
Link now must go to each of these defeat the two that are in there, and get there relics.
After Link has downed the Final Boss of the seventh dungeon, a cutscene will take place. Link, Zelda, and TOP Bearer will be teleported to the Hylian Palace.
There they see the sorcerer. He states that since each of those being were in possession of those items, there influence is within them. However, there was on obstacle that was preventing him from ressurecting the Dark God. That was that he needed one more evil soul to be killed. then, he kills himself and the Dark God is Ressurected.
The Dark God begins to trample through the city to the palace. You, Zelda, and TOP must get to the roof before it is too late.
Once on the roof the Dark God will begin to attack the three in order for their to be nothing to stand in its way.
Final Cutscene: The three of you use the power of the Triforce to make it complete. Then, instead of making a wish, they thrust the now visible triforce at the dark god. The evil entity begins to fade away into the light of the Triforce.
Then, the three godesses appear, they say that the Dark God will not be resurrected as part of him is within the Triforce, and the Triforce will never fall into the hands of an evil being.

It looks like they are getting read.

How is majora supposed to be a great boss if he/she is never fought or seen at all. Majora's Mask/other is fought. Majora is probably some creepy deceased Stone-towerian Shaman.

All of the enemies in this game that are bosses are in human form or whatever there most humanish form is. So, Majora is completely made up, but the Mask is still included within the game idea as both part of the battle and as a tool of destruction. All the bosses are in there most powerful age. This means the Ganondorf is his OOT version with all of the knowledge he has know from past defeats.

Also, for my Dark God idea, I have to thank Aura Pulse for giving me this idea. It may sound like I stole the idea took out the bosses from Aura's idea, and made it my own, but I didn't. Besides, this game idea has a sequel to it.

Re: The Official Create-A-Zelda Game Thread

The Legend of Zelda: Shadow Stones

'Before Time Began, before Spirits and life existed, three golden goddesses; Din, Nayru and Farore, descended upon the universe. Within it they created a Realm of light and a realm of Shadow, and in between them they created a Middle Realm where light and shadow could live in unison. This land has become known as Hyrule. When the goddesses labours were completed, they departed to the heavens, leaving behind a symbol of their power, the Triforce.

Knowledge of the all-powerful triforce was common amoung the races of the land, and a great war begun. Tribes turned to dark magic (possibly Majora?) hoping to claim the triforce to themselves. Hyrule was on the verge of complete destruction. The Hylian King seized control of the land with a power so great and unpredictable, he vowed never to use it again. The key to this power was destroyed, and a shard of it was given to each of the races who swore alligance to the king. The rest were banished into the Realm of Shadow, and cut off from the rest of the land.'

The game's basic plot is the hate that the Shadow Realm has for Hyrule leaks through, and the dark force turns people against each other, etc. and shadow beasts are released. The game starts with Link in a villiage, somewhere near the forest. And all the townsfolk know is that strage things are happening in the forest. The mayor decides to send Link to warn the King of these mishaps, but on the night before his departure, the evil comes from the forest into the villiage. A mini war follows (houses are on fire, etc.) and Link gets knocked out. He wakes up the next morning and heads off to Hyrule castle.

The King (or Zelda) says the only way to stop this evil is to awaken the magic used by the first King. It's then Link's quest to go to to the different tribes (races) or Hyrule and collect their shard of the key.
The tribes are:
*Forest Folk (Kokiri, most likely)
*Gorons
*Zoras
*Gerudo
*Sheikah
*and Hylian (which you start of with given to you)

Of course the key shards are locked away in ancient temples, and Link must retrieve them. When he does, there's a massive explosion of light, and all evil shadow is destroyed. Link heads back to Hyrule Castle, but when it's in view (from hyrule field), the caste is surrounded in shadow matter. You see 'zelda' (who turns out to be a decoy) attempting to flee the castle, and when you meet up with her, she tells you that you have to enter the Shadow Realm, and destroy the evil at the source. She tells you to go deep into the Gerudo Desert, to Arbiter's Grounds, where you will learn the ancient powers to do this.

When you get through Arbiter's Grounds (a temple), there is an ancient seal on the gound, and four platforms surrounding it. A light Spirit appears, and a cut scene follows. Basically, when the gateway to/from the Shadow Realm was sealed, it was locked with four stones, which are the element's of Hyrule. Only the one who can master all 4 elements may unlock the passageway to the shadow realm. They are:
*Earth (forest temple)
*Fire (fire temple)
*Water (water temple)
*Wind (sky temple)

The Shadow Stones.

When the spirit dissappears, a mysterious figure (Sheik) appears from out of the shadows, and offers to ferry you to the Isle de Meurto (an Island in the North East, that the Sheikah lived. it is an 'evil' place, think of the Shadow Temple). This is the location of the doorway to the Shadow Realm. When you collect the four stones (they are triangular prisms), you return here, and enter the Shadow Realm. Sheik is your 'sidekick' during this leg of the journey. When you get to the bosses chamber, you have to destroy Dark Link, and then the main villian (or thought to be at the time), who is pure shadow matter, and morphs into the different bosses through the game, before it turns into itself (a somewhat human figure), and nearly kills you, until Sheik saves you).

But it turns out that while you were in the Realm (you had to leave it open, or you couldn't get back), Ganondorf escapes. The usual sorta thing happens, but sheik is the one with light arrows, but then Ganondorf finds out that Sheik is the real Zelda, and casts a spell on her, which puts her into eternal slumber (in which he thinks is worse than death/ is his new trophy). You ultimately end up beating him.

Not too sure about new items or bosses right now.

Re: The Official Create-A-Zelda Game Thread

The Legend of Zelda: Rise of Ghand

STORY: The game starts out in the village of Yanda near the Great Forest. Link and his family are going to go to the Hyrule Castle to participate in the Tournament Festival were many games of various skills will be played competitively to receive a gift from Princess Zelda and the King personally. Link's younger brother, Brell, challenges you to see who does the best at the games. Your father will be one of the judges for the Sword competition and asks you two to behave at the fair and do your best. When you arrive at the Tournament Fields by Hyrule Castle he gives you each 20 Rupees and tells you guys to do your best. Your brother runs off on his own.

At this point you gain control and have to do all the challenges and they serve as kind of a tutorial. There are: archery, fishing, swordfighting, horseback riding, and tilting (or lancing). Depending on if you win or lose on each event, different things will happen. At the swordfighting competition (which you have to do last because they are still preparing) you fight various people with different techniques and weaknesses until you eventually have to fight your brother, Brell, to win. IF you lose, Brell considers himself greater and your father congratulates him. If you win its the other way around. If you won all of the events you get a trophy from Zelda and the King and 100 rupees as a reward for your skills.

After the fight your father brings you back to the wagon you both traveled in and gives a gift to the brothers. Your father bought these two swords from a strange merchant recently for a fair price and offers them to you. One sword is pure steel and the other is pitch black. Brell eagerly takes the black one and you grab the shining pure white one.

After a while if you talk to Brell he asks if you want to practice a little to try out the new swords and you start to fight. On the first swing both swords clash together and strange thing happens. A brilliant spark comes from it and the black sword starts to glow red. Brell tries to drop the sword but he can't get it off his hand and suddenly a vortex opens and a large army of shadows comes out and terrorizes the town. You try to help Brell but when you touch him you get blown backwards by a force of energy. Soon a shadow begins to engulf him and before you see his new form you get swept away by a giant eagle.

You land on a high mountain and the eagle starts to explain everything. She says that your family (except your brother) are fine and they have returned safely with the help of his magic, but the whole Castle is in an uproar. The eagle says she is the great shaman of old, Laenira.

Laenira then begins to explain why all of this happened like this:
Back when the earth was fresh and new, there were two tribes that learned the powers of magic. The tribe of Laenira wanted to use magic to heal and to protect but the tribe of Ghand desired to use it for evil purposes and to destroy.

After a few years of peace and learning, Ghand suddenly attacked the Laenira tribe, saying that he wanted to test out his new powers on ones weaker than he. This started a long war between the two tribes. No other kingdoms could intervene because they new nothing of magic and could not protect themselves from Ghand's ever growing power.

Eventually two swords were forged by magic in Laenira's village. A light and a dark sword. After a great battle at the Chael River (which you can visit in the game and its all destroyed and messed up) Laenira's greatest magicians held the mighty Ghand with magic and Laenira used the power of the light sword to seal Ghand and his army into the sword of darkness were they would stay forever in banishment from the world. The only thing that would be able to break the seal on the sword is the light sword itself. They sealed the swords in vaults under ground so that no one would ever use the swords again.

Apparently, a few treasure hunters must have found them and sold them for profits to the merchant that your father met. The merchant did not seem to find swords as a very good seller and eventually brought the price down and your father happened to buy them as a gift to you and your brother.

When both swords clashed together, the seal was broken and my spirit was called unto the evil presence. I believe that your brother is now controlled by none other than Ghand himself. You are the wielder of the Great Sword of Light and you are the only one who can beat the mighty Ghand and free your brother. You cannot go to the castle at the moment, though. It is protected by many guards and the gate is sealed off by 5 seals of great evil. The seals are all made by evil beings that lurk all across Hyrule at this moment. It is your job to find the evil shadows and defeat them to break each seal until you finally can enter Ghand's new castle.

Laenira tells you that she has old friends and enemies to visit at the moment and says that you need to visit the village further down the mountain and to meet one of her only descendants, Chuleven. Laenira gives you the Lute of Light that she has blessed with the magic of her ancestors and teaches you a tune that can summon her to you at any time outside. You learn many others but this is the first. She flies away and you are left on your own to travel down the mountain to the village. You meet Chuleven and he tells you about 5 empty castles that have suddenly been filled with evil magic that he can feel. He tells you the location of each and the first one you go to is in the mountains nearby.

After beating every Castle, you break the seal and enter Hyrule castle were you have to fight the evil Ghand in a great sword duel. Ghand eventually overpowers you and Laenira takes you away and tells you that you need to need to gather the pieces for the armor of light to protect yourself in the final battle against Ghand. You go through 3 temples, each with pieces of the armor and you get it forged together by the Gorons under the mountain.

After this you head back to the castle and challenge Ghand again. This time you start off in an aerial battle against Ghand on Laenira and eventually fight by lancing and then end in another swordfight were you defeat the evil Ghand and cut the black sword into several shards that go across the land. The evil castle is then redeemed and you save your brother Zelda, the king and all of Hyrule because of your bravery.

At the end, Laenira says she has to go and rest her spirit because her enemy has been defeated so she leaves you and goes back to being a spirit again. Link is saddened but goes rides back to his humble little village to live in peace.

MAIN QUEST - Defeat the evil wizard Ghand and free Hyrule from his reign.

SIDE QUESTS/MINIGAMES - There are many quests that almost anyone can give you like in Majora's Mask.
There are lancing, flying, shooting, swordfighting, and horseback racing. There are many other returning minigames and others I haven't thought of yet.

NEW ITEMS:
Lute of Light (a lute is kind of like an old fashioned acoustic guitar with more strings)
Sword of Light
Light Armor
All the old spells come back.
Falcon (Kind of like a boomerang)
Electric Arrows MP2
A Light Spell MP5

Dungeons-Bosses
Castle of Valadur - Shadow Dragon (This boss fight is aerial)
Castle of Illusions - Evil Puppet Master (Its a hand controlling a puppet monster)
The Lost Castle - The Forgotten Knight
Castle of Fire - Fire Swordsman
Castle of Water - Water Master
Sprit Dungeon - Spirit Shaman (aerial battle)
Shadow Dungeon - Ghand's Illusion (Aerial battle)
Forest Dungeon - Shadow Vines

EXTRA - New Swordfighting stuff

There are three different sword styles (one is speedy but weak, another is slow but strong, and one is balenced [default]) and they look a little different when used. Link can unequip a sheild to wield his sword two handed for more power but less defense and there are a few new techniques:

Parry: Deflect a blow by tapping the shield button when they strike.
Lock Swords: If you are fighting and you and your opponent lock swords you have to button mash to push him back and stun him.
Disarm - You can only do this on regular enemies and you do it by locking swords and waving the Wiimote.
Counter: After a parry you can counter with a strike that sends them to the ground.

Thats about it for now... I might edit it later... Hope you liked it!
