A Zelda game with the magic bar

i was thinking of a Zelda game with the magic bar, expect that in that Zelda game the magic should be used for energy attacks like the death beam for example or the great spin unleased,if any of you guys know some attacks that might look good in a future Zelda game, then lets talk about it.

Well the thing is you couldn't have any other elements than either wind or light because...
Ganandorf is Din's son: Fire
Zelda is Naru's: Water
And Link is Farore's: Wind

Did not know that... Anyway, I think theycould make more magic-based attacks, but I think it would be kind of weird if Link was portrayed as some kind of magician, y'know? Even if he was using a sword for all these types of attacks, it might end up look like some kind of twisted MapleStory/WoW attacks put into Zelda

Re: A Zelda game with the magic bar

Ganondorf is Din's son? None of that makes any sense. Ganondorf has the triforce of power, which contains the essense of Din, but that's a far cry from Ganondorf being Din's son.

Anyway, I really like TP's special abilities, like the mortal draw and great spin. It added so much to gameplay. I also liked OoT's wide variety of weapons and the idea of attack magic from OoT and AoL. I think they should use those in decided what to put into the next game.

Re: A Zelda game with the magic bar

TP need a magic bar and magic arrows. As for magic based attacks I never used them. But having them in the game would be nice. As for what he would have I have no idea. Okay I do. With the wii remote being able to fling little energy things like in the first LoZ etc would be nice. Not replacing arrows (and only at full health) but it would be a neat idea for Nintendo to look at.

Magic Arrows would be great to see with the TP graphics, but only if they have a point (like in MM). Having them as an added extra (like in OoT) takes away from them I think.

By the way, no, I've never met Pizzaro but I love his pies. And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy?

Absolutely. The spin attack became overpowered in Wii TP so if they keep it that way, I definitely want it to run off magic to limit it.

But if they keep giving you magic bottles everywhere like in past 3D Zeldas, they can scrap the magic meter altogether and just give us infinite ammo - because that is what Zelda has been like recently.

If by magick arrows you mean like the Fire/Ice/Light Arrows, I have to disagree. The Fire/Ice Rods were way better, and more powerful. As for the Light Arrows, I'd choose Silver Arrows any day of the week.
