New Zelda Game Idea

I don't have a title for it yet.

The Legend of Zelda : (Twilight Princess 2) words in parantheses are just to let you know where it would fit in the timeline.

Story: After TP, Link went back to being a ranchhand. He gets a message via mail from Zelda. Neighboring provinces are complaining about less land. Link must go to each one, and help out the tribe there. Then, he must destroy the evil within it.

Final boss background (more in this case):
Zant has returned. He somehow survived his death in the Twilight Realm. His only goal is to take over everything. He is not the same, idiotic Zant from TP. No. He is the calm one we saw earlier in the game.

Final boss battle:
Zant begins by drawing out two swords. You, Link, do the same thing. You both battle for a very long time before Zant warps you to a lone island in the Twilight Realm. ( his powers are cooler and so are his attacks.) During this segment of the battle, you will have to battle his minions. after the last one falls, its back to battling him; however he has some new attacks to show Link. When you get done with this segment, you and him warp back to the Dark/Light Temple where you and Zelda kill him for good with a spell.

Final boss attacks:
Sword: 3 hearts
Minions: 2 hearts
Ultra Ending Blow*: 5 hearts
Tele-stab**: 4 hearts
Magic: 1 heart

*zant thrusts one sword into the ground. He then throws the other one straight up into the air. He teleports up to it, and drives it at breakneck speed into the ground. The only way to dodge this is to run to the very edge of the island or jump attack over the shock wave.

**Zant quickly teleports behind you stabs you, then magic blasts you. It is very hard to tell when he will do this for he is teleporting a lot during the final segment of the battle, which is where both of these attacks are introduced.

I will put up other bosses info later if you would like.

Sounds awesome, I was a little skeptical when I read Zant was the main bad guy (because i hated him) but his new calm personality sounds good.

Would Zelda really send Link to destroy the evil within these lands, wouldnt she send her guards. Or is it something Zelda knows only Link could handle?

Would Link have full access to the same Hyrule Twilight Princess is set in, would the landscape change a lot, a little?

And when Link went to help the Gorons would he go back to the same Death Mountain In TP or would the Gorons be a different tribe altogether, same with the Zoras etc.

It sounds like a cool enuf idea. Wuld the landscape be more like OoT than TP, cuz yur uzing the same temples, so the landscape wuld hav to be mor like OoT to fit them in without another total redesign.

It's an interesting idea, but do yu think that yu culd fit in the Rito and/or the Minish in any way? They r my 2 favorite tribes.

I voted Pfft because frankly - Zant played his part. He's done. And why do people complain about how he was acting? It made perfect sense, anything else would just take away character appeal.

If the game was non-linear, this could be really interesting. But Zant is done for, even if he survived. Zant went insane for a reason, he was. With a plot like that, anyone could essentially be the villain (flames of sorrow/despair anyone?).

New final boss idea:
Nightmare Leader Destruction (he has no name)

Story: Destruction is not his name. He was born as something else, but anyone that remembers shall not say it for fear of releasing his true powers.
Destruction comes from a tribe that was banished from the world of light into the twilight realm, banished from there into the Nightmare Realm, rebelled against the Twilight King, and the portal was destroyed...
Destruction is a direct descendant of the Dark Interlopers. He exceeds all others in magic, strength, and sword combat. Link wil have a hard time defeating him.

BOSS BATTLE: 10 Parts!
Part 1: liquida reincarnation. This battle is similair to that of liquida. defeat him the same way you would liquida.

Part 2: burstfire. Battle him the same way as burstfire

Part 3: Venus battle

Part 4: Argora battle

Part 5: Spirita battle

Part 6: Shacklesaur battle

Part 7: Magic, sword, and a lot of blocking.

Part 8: Light vs. Dark: the two ancient armors collide

Part 9: Best Beast: Both of you turn into animals with human characteristics

Part 10: while in beast form, both you and your enemy will don their respective armor, light and dark, and duke it out to the finish.

Master Sword of Light- gained at the end of the Light Temple
Light Armor- gained from Ice Temple boss
Light Wings- gained from Sky Temple boss
Light Shield- gained from Fire Temple boss
Light Arrows- gained from Forest Temple boss
Light Mask- gained from Water Temple boss
Clawshot- gained from Water Temple miniboss
Arrows- ice- gained from the Fire Temple miniboss
Bombs- gained from the Sky Temple miniboss
Mirror Shield- gained from Spirit Temple miniboss (imagine that)
Beast Sword- gained from Forest Temple miniboss
Black Hand- gained from Shadow Temple miniboss
the Black Hand allows the user to wield a sword, and be able to cut through things previously uncuttable.

So, now that I have new boss up, who do you like better? Zant or Destruction? It will decide the fate of the story which will be in the next post.

It's an alright idea, but I think it follows TP way to similarly, just for the sake of bosses and...Zant. Agreed, btw, no more Zantage.

Sounds cool, just add a bit more detail as to what kind of evil is leaking to the temples/why Zant is alive and calm.

I'm assuming Midna would be in it (preferably in her human form).

Also, the mirror broke there's no way to go back.

Sounds alright, though I would love Ganondorf to be more major in this. He was just blindly thrown into TP imo. I think we should focus on him a bit more than just Zant... =3

Her true form certainly looks more human than she does as an imp. In fact, the only diffrences are the fact that she has white skin and red eyes.

Its a game, they could easily retcon things. Maybe there is more than one mirror, maybe the goddesses sent link there using some other means, etc. Anyway, I agree, you really can't have a TP sequal without Midna. She's definantly a character that should be brought back.
