Should it be in the next Zelda? Because it was one of the better features in TP. Like if they kept the older enemies of the Zelda series in it, so the could bring back old ones without over populating the over world with tons and tons of new and old enemies.

Change it into some sort of arena where the people who run it go out and capture enemies to fight. That way you can have the basic Cave of Ordeals sort of layout but build upon it and add some other things into it like competitions ( "who can defeat the most enemies", "Link vs other warriors", "capture the other teams flag" and "defend your base from multiple waves of enemies")
What? I'm pretty sure it was there in TP. Yeah it was the only hard part in the game, but would have been sweeter with a bos at the end.
I considered the four (or was it five?) Darknuts in the end to be more challenging than most of the bosses in TP (or any 3D Zelda for that matter. At least they took longer to beat).
A boss that would be even harder than that would be most welcome, definitely. I like the concept of the Cave of Ordeals, or anything like it, really - different challenges spread across the overworld, dungeons with stronger enemies and tougher puzzles and prizes that make it all worthwhile, now that would be nice.
