Re: How would you feel about a TP sequel on the DSi?

TP may have had flaws.

But a sequel to it could be improved and not have those problems. Sequels usually introduce new worlds, new stories, items, characters.... etc. anyway, which can mean new gameplay and such. Just because there could be a sequel to TP, doesn't mean it needs to have mistakes.

The only thing that really defines a Zelda sequel is if the Link in the sequel is the same Link as the one from the prequel.

That's because there's more to discuss in MM.

Re: How would you feel about a TP sequel on the DSi?

I didn't mind TP, i thought it was decently played, and i wouldn't mind a sequel. A lot of people dislike it because there was "nothing original", or that Ganondorf's appearance was done wrongly...i don't see how though, but that's my opinion alone. As well as adding ANOTHER game onto the franchise, i TP sequel would give the Link an adventure of his own, unconnected in most parts to the timeline. As was sais previously in the thread, it would also give TP Link more depth, as did MM give the Hero of Time.
But i also think that a TP sequel should be behind priority of a brand new consol game, which can shed light on the timeline, story, and legacy of the characters, whereas TP sequel would be obvious in terms of placement, and like MM, it would hardly contribute to the overall story. (don't get me wrong, MM was my absolute FAVORITE Zelda game.) I would also prefer it to take place before or after TP, on the child timeline, as more often than not, i tend to see the child timeline lacking in actual games from everyone's theories here.

I just want the Wii to have its first Zelda game! That's all!

Twilight Princess was a Gamecube game!

Re: How would you feel about a TP sequel on the DSi?

I thought that TP was a very good game, not the best, but still good. If they were to make a sequel, it should do something like MM, and place you in a completely unfamiliar environment. It should also be on the Wii.

Ash, chill. I'm just curious to know how everyone would feel about it. I don't think they should even make a TP sequel for the DS either!

Re: How would you feel about a TP sequel on the DSi?

That's a terrible idea. PH kinda worked because it has a cartoony style to it. TP is more serious which wouldn't be good.
