Whilst I am not going to say there will never be a remake of LTTP, this is not a screenshot for it, because:

1. It's fan art

2. its fan art for the Minish Cap.

I would compare it to a screenshot from the game that matches the fan art, but unfortunately I cant find one. But I assure you, that is minish cap link standing outside his uncles house

This isn't to mention a Nintendo console probably couldn't pull those visuals off in-game.

It's fan art for AlttP in tMC art style. take a good look at both the houses in tMC and AlttP again and you will see that this one is identical to the one in ALttP.

And i'm assuming your a geek who posts on forums because you have too much time on your hands?? Because we all know forum posters are geeks especially those who post on games forums..... its not even real life!

These people who do this fan art in there spare time help to provide us with stuff to talk about and makes Zelda a hell of a lot more than 'just a game'. They make up a core part of the Zelda community, and i for one appreciate and enjoy looking at their work!

I know the date, and I also know that the graphics on Nintendo's console are nowhere near as good as that. They're doing gameplay, cool, whatever. The Wii won't be pulling this off any time soon. XBOX360 and PS3, sure.

The kind of effect that the picture has can be easiely archieved by the means of the wii though.

I really love this, and I would love to play an ALttP version that looks like this, but I'm sick of the TWW Link model. It's just....not right.

You should check out some of the other works this guy (girl?) has made. I saw it on digg.com, and there were a couple of Sonic ones. They look fantastic.

Well sure it can, but that same effect during gameplay in a top down Zelda game?

A cutscene would be possible, but they'd have to cut corners to get it to work.
