What bosses would you like to return?

Through the games, we've seen several bosses return, most significant Ganon, Gohma and Vaati, but also Dark Link. The bosses of the first game also came again in OoS, remade.

I'd love to see a new game like OoS/OoA with Onox/Veran. Fantastic games with great bosses.
Maybe a game where the main bosses got together, like Ganon, Vaati and maybe Onox and Veran. Of course, it'd have to be a really big project. It'd have to be nothing else than the biggest of Zelda-games ever. And possibly the most challenging too, if they would make it right. It'd have to include about 15-25 dungeons... too much? Some would maybe have to skip their Heart Containers, a little bit sad. In that chaos, they could include Majora's Mask as a boss, again, but while controlling a stronger body (Skull Kid... wtf?). Maybe it'd be too much, but it's something to think of. (And yes, Vaati and Ganon were both in FSA, but I'd rather have a game like TP/OoT for that idea.

I'd also like a revival of Helmasaur King, one of the coolest bosses ever! But it'd have to be toughened up a bit, cause it was quite pathetic in ALttP
Helmaroc King would also be cool to see again (and yes, he did reappear in FSA).
Volvagia? Well, one of my absolute favorites ever! One of the better fights, but dunno if Volvagia, revived would be that nice. It belongs in OoT, the most epic game ever. But sure, it worked for Ridley...

What do you think? What bosses would you like to see again?

Re: What bosses would you like to return?

Her Majesty, Queen Gohma.

There are lots of nasty bugs she can be. Praying mantis? Cockroach? (oh horrible)

An even uglier and more realistic spider? Yes, thats the ticket!

None. If I wanted to fight an old boss, I'd play the game it was in.

This series needs innovation, not old stuff returning.

Re: What bosses would you like to return?

I agree with you partly. Reviving old OoT bosses won't do any good. But they were already good!
There are several bosses that was a great idea to start with, but they were ****ed up, made too easy and didn't justify their powers since the games weren't supposed to be "too hard".
As I mentioned before, Helmasaur King is one.
Another one is Shadow Hag in OoA. Bouncing the seeds on the walls back at her was not hard at all. On the other hand, that boss was a good idea to begin with, it wasn't just posing enough threat! I'd enjoy a remake of that boss (and maybe with a cooler name, cause "Shadow Hag" is really lame)

Re: What bosses would you like to return?

Stallord, and maybe Bongo-Bongo, but those are the only two. I'd much rather see some new bosses, preferably the sort that are actually challenging and don't follow the established find weakness - stun - damage formula.

Re: What bosses would you like to return?

Hmm, to be honest, I'd say those two bosses were good. Not great or hard, but good. Bongo Bongo was maybe a bit obvious. But nah, I like them, let them stay the way they are.
Bt sure, a new Stalfos-version as a boss (just like Stallord) would be cool. ^^

The Shadow Hag was pretty cool, maybe they could give her a backstory in one of the games? Perhaps she could be the mother of the Poe Sisters (and a psychopathic Mommy Dearest type at that?)

I think the Poe Sisters are one of the reasons why the Forest Temple rocked (and not just because I like Little Women a lot.) Thankyou, I'm glad you agree!
The Shadow Hag need not be the mother even, just some kind of crazed fanatical matriarch (a grandmother, an aunt, a queen or some other kind of authority over the sisters)

I think the Poe Sisters could really benefit from an upgrade and fleshed out backstory. What they were like before they came poes, and why they became murderous spirits (but they obviously care about eachother. I heard somewhere that if you look at Meg before you begin the fight, she's appears to be crying, obviously distraught over what Link did to her sisters)

I'd prefer entirely new bosses, but if an older one had to be revived, I think I'd like to fight Goht again.

Re: What bosses would you like to return?

I would love to see Twinrova again. While they were comic villains in OoT, they were actually very sinister in the Oracles (no amusing little squabbles, they were much more competent, and they talked freely of black magic and human sacrifice)

I still think Queen Gohma should make an apperence. She has so many different forms she practically IS a new boss each time she appears. She's been a crab, a spider, a lava scorpion centipede thing and just a bug monster (can't think of any better way to describe her in OoT). The only thing that stays the same is that shes always a cyclops bug queen.

I completely agree. A connection between the Poe Sisters, Shadow Hag and Jalhalla? It COULD make a new game, where the Poes are the key antagonists. It could also be a part of a game that ends up with Ganon (and possibly Twinrova) being the mastermind. ^^

And as you said, keep Gohma coming. We'll never grow tired of her since she's a completely new boss every time!

For sure! Maybe even have a game that shows what they were like alive. (Im wondering if the Poe Sisters were Kokiri at one point. Evil Kokiri? You know I'm interested. XD

True PyroShadow, they can reappear. They're ghosts after all, and they could always get revived or dragged out of the afterlife through dark magic. It keeps happening to Ganny.

They are ghosts, time doesn't matter to them anymore.

1. Aquamentus
2. Jabu-Jabu
3. Gleerok

*EDIT*
I meant Bongo-Bongo instead of Jabu-Jabu.

Gleerok and Aquamentos, yeah, would be kinda cool.
But was Jabu-Jabu ever a boss? Can't remember him as more than a dungeon, which he is in OoT ans OoA.
