Who do you want as the main antagonist in Spirit Tracks?

Bellum had no character, he was just...there... you know?

To me, Bellum looked more like your average dungeon boss

Well I suppose Bellum is as bad that bad a villain as say... Dethl from LA (he never really spoke)

My favorite Zelda villain is still Veran. She's a very Machiavellian villain, which I love Rather then just sitting on her castle twiddling her thumbs, waiting for you to to defeat her underlings and gather up the magical item,) Veran is constantly plotting and scheming, and there are several occasions where she leaves her castle to up the game, or through a spanner in Link's works, (there are several occasions when just when you think you have one over on her, you turn out to have played right into her hands.) While she was defeated like all Zelda villains do, she was one of the villains that made her plans incredibly hard to thwart.

Veran froze time so it would stay light outside, so the people would keep working on the tower. If I'm tired, and I want to go home, i'd just say "Screw you guys, I'm going home!" smack the guards blocking the exit, and head home

Not really, because anyone who leaves is probably imprisoned/executed It was sworn by the power of Ambi's spiky eyebrows.

I say we need a new villain...prefebably female. Twinrova and Veran were great, and that just shows you we need more characters like them. I know this may sound like a cheesey idea, but how about a Dark Princess? I know in TP Link fought a posessed Zelda (which is very close to what I'm looking for), but I mean a character in itself. I mean, there's a Phantom Ganon and a Dark Link, shouldn't there be a doppleganger of Zelda for Link to fight?

Personally, i'd like to see Vaati in a non-Toon realistic version. (But that's not likely for ST i guess...)

I'd like to say Vaati became Zant after a series of events, but there's nothing whatsoever to back that up (even though their behaviour is somewhat similar IMO)

An evil Zelda would be awesome. We've had Dark Link, why not Dark Zelda? =D Maybe she could be corrupted by the power that the Triforce of Wisdom can offer, and decides to use it for her own ends (not sure that could work because part of Wisdown is knowing how to use it with well.... wisdom. But does wisdom have to be benevolent? Wisdom used for evil could be the most dangerous triforce of them all....)

Maybe the Triforce of wisdom was split in half, and an evil sister/doppelganger of Zelda got it? Maybe she could even have Dark Arrows that are capable of cancelling out the the Light Arrows.

Or maybe have Dark Arrows that could make other people act evil (and they would become her minions)! It would at least be similar to how Zant controlled all of those bosses. Plus the Light Arrows (or a new item) could bring the people out of their dark state, and it would be a great introduction to having a crossbow in the next Zelda console game!

I just feel that Zelda needs some sort of threat to her crown. I mean, it just seems like all she ever does is sit on her but all day. One thing I really liked about LA was the fact that there really wasn't one specific person you had to rescue in the end. Can't there be another game like that? I just find it funny that history repeats itself in the world of Hyrule so many times, that, nobody really seem to notice.

Yes, I want a completely NEW antagonist... I don't want a weird monster either. What I really would like is a human (used to be good, but got corrupted/just plain evil - doesn't matter).

i think bellum was actually a good villain. i wouldnt mind if he showed up as a boss, but i would like someone new

Lol, but this antagonist has to be Zelda-related right? I mean they couldn't throw in some random person like Eggman from Sonic. Main antagonist for handheld in this case I think could be something obvious. Maybe some evil sorcerer or something..
