NEW ZELDA: LoZ : Spirit Tracks (Tentative title)

Well, after watching the trailer for a second time, here are my thoughts on the new Zelda:

First, I think this will be an indirect sequel to WW (like WW was to OoT). It will take place a couple centuries after WW, in the new land Link and Tetra set out to find at the end of WW. Like the Great Flood, we won't actually see the discovery of the new world, but we'll know essentially what happened.

Second, as many years have passed since Link and Tetra have found the new world, they were able to establish a government there (presumably a recreation of Hyrule's monarchy). Technology has also advanced some, leading to the more streamlined civilization shown in the trailer.

Third, Ganon won't be in it. Or at least, he shouldn't be in it. If this is the new land, it needs it's own villain. Not that Ganon should never appear in the new world -he just shouldn't do so in this game. If Nintendo is taking the time to create a new land for the Zelda series, they can surely give it a unique villain and not just throw Ganon in because he wants to take over the world.

It isn't. There is a Zelda Wii team, and a Zelda DS team. The DS team have shown their game, the Wii team won't until at earliest late 2010/early 2011.

You should sell the Wii though, because then you can get bumhurt when the Wii game comes out :>

This isn't too hard to imagine. Very nice theory. I wonder what exactly they mean by spirit tracks though. hmmmmmmmmm.....

I doubt it, but I know I'm not.

Wind Waker was only fun with an Action Replay, and Phantom Hourglass felt like a chore. I'm not buying another game in the WW series.

no. All cel shaded games were a shock for gamers. But these are one of the best games!

GOOD! This game excties me, I absolutely loved PH. I hope this one is a sequal...it looks like a sequal.

I'm not really excited about it since it looks way too much like PH, so it feels like I've seen it before.

I'm definitely happy though.

As far as we know now, it should play on all DS systems. The DSi camera bit was bunk.
