I liked the tunnel battle, but I'm guessing that's like a boss encounter. Also, I have a strange feeling that they have no idea what they're doing with Zelda any more.

Yeah. I was surprised to see it, but then I saw it being used like a Grapple Hook in WW and I wasn't so surprised. Still, it's a fine addition. I'll be getting this to tide me over this holiday season.

Yeah, the same here. I just remembered the Grapple Hook in WW. It works out well in ST.

one thing I'm still curious, so we can only travel from one place to another by using train?

Ok so when I saw the first trailer I was like "Meh" but I must say the newest trailer does make it look interesting.

I got some interesting info about the place where ST could possibly set in. The info comes from quite unexpected source: the official Nintendo site of Finland. It came up when I was watching their introductions to games displayed at E3.

The quote is in Finnish:

Linkin seikkailut jatkuvat uudessa maailmassa ja kulkeminen tapahtuu nyt höyryveturin avulla. Graafinen ilme ja tunnelma ovat samanlaiset kuin suositussa Phantom Hourglass -seikkailussa.

The highlighted sentence means: Link's adventures are continuing in the new world.
New world?? Does that mean that ST isn't taking place in Hyrule. I encourage u to take this news critically as it may as well be a twist of words.

If that was true that could mean that ST is the sequel of PH, and that new world is the new land that tetra and link will suppose to find after WW.

Not surprising in the least. I'd say this game is set to confirm the "New Hyrule" theory at last!

Now we'll just have to wait and see how it connects to the older games...

Gametrailers might have interviewed some of the designers.

A video just popped up in Zelda Dungeon of an interview (not with game trailers) where a nintendo employee states

Spirit Tracks takes place in the same universe as Phantom hourglass........a hundred years after it.......all new Link.

According to the video (from what i understood) as you upgrade your train, it increases in speed. Maybe the shift in the train's design (from the first trailer) was an upgrade?. but i could have misunderstood......
