Do you think the end of Zelda is near?

Formula, formula, formula who cares? Oot was amazing it changed lots, you always just go on and on about how its a glorified ALttP, Oot was a totally different game and did great stuff. Thats what we want ever time we get a new Zelda a system changer and mind bender, something amazing that does amazing thing. You know what everyone says let oot die, well let ALttP die too. Anyways a drought would suck, but I think a bunch of crappy games would suck more.

I think nintendo should just start making games like micrsoft and sony. All nintendos development teams suck.

It's Nintendo. Not anything else. We get all the great stuff their great people give us.

HELL NO! I have nothing against Sony, but the majority of Microsoft's games are FPS and, while I have nothing against FPS, it's not the only game genre I want to play.

Let Retro Studio's make a Zelda, but don't go Microsoft on us.

I'm not saying microsoft is the best. I just think nintendo needs to put more effort into their games.

Fable 2 was great, but it was basically all the inovation the LoZ brought to the industry. So Nintendo is just fine.

If you actually take the time to play NES and SNES games, you'd know that Nintendo did put a lot of effort into games, it's just that Miyamoto is in his casual phase right now and High Voltage is the only third party company taking the Wii seriously. Nintendo just needs to get back to it's roots.

OoT did not change everything. All the changes it made were mostly due to the change from 2D to 3D. Everything else was just an expansion of what ALttP brought to the series (i.e. the formula).

True, but what is important is that they did it right. It could have been a major farce, fortunately Nintendo was able to successfully transfer the success of LttP to OoT with minimal unneeded changes and incredible new tools like z-targeting.

OOT was practically a remake. But in 3-d. miyamoto has been sticking to casual since he started Zelda.

Then I suggest you play ALttP. It had the same formula, hell, it had the same plot.

ALttP > OoT
Collect three Pendants > Collect 3 Spiritual Stones
Get Master Sword > Get Master Sword
Rescue 7 Maidens > Rescue 5 Sages
Maidens unlock Ganon's Tower > Sages build a bridge to Ganon's Tower
Defeat Ganondorf > Defeat Agahnim
Defeat Ganon > Defeat Ganon.

Don't forget the tunics and the shields!

Um...that's all I got.
