Who wants Magic back?

I would only like the magic they had in OoT/MM/WW.

EDIT: Never mind.... don't know what i was thinking..... Yeah, bring it back!

I liked magic... Fire arrows was one of my favourite weapons. Not that bomb arrows aren't awesome but... yeah, I'd like to see it back.

I would really like to see a magic meter in the next game. It could be used for many things. One of the bad things in TP is that the magic meter was missing. It kinda makes the game harder.

In AoL, Link could use magic for everything; it could give him better defense, let him fly, turn enemies into blobs, all sorts of things. In ALttP Link could cause earthquakes, turn invisible and create blocks of magic. In OoT and MM, there was Din's Fire and Nayru's Love. In WW, there were magic arrows and the Mage Armor. But after WW, the magic meter disappeared.

I would like to be able to do magic in the next Zelda game, with a magic meter. Who thinks that magic should be brought back, and what new things could be done with it?

Or do you think that the magic system is outdated, and shouldn't return?

The three ultimate tomes in AlttP are badass (either, and i forget) and should be brought back as well as the flame rod, invisible cape, and why not more? Telekinesis could be a new spell that could solve puzzles and throw enimies around. The list could go on...

good idea, but I think it would be better if you pick up magic pots frequently so the spells could be friggin overpowered but worth the time instead of being used frequently but weak. not to put u down or anything...

It needs to come back, and have more of an emphasis on it in combat. Bring back the alttp medallions and have the arrows back where you need to use them more. Plus be able to expand on the PH magic mixed with your sword idea. I would love to have a sword set on flame and do some serious damage. and in my opinion there should be blatant magic attacks like an rpg kinda like in AoL. all that in 3d would be awesome!

Magic should deffinatly come back. Just forget about the ice, fire, light arrows. They are very old but thats just my opinion. I think they should make the game have a bunch of magic upgrades instead of like 2. I think the next Zelda game should be more like an RPG istead of an Action RPG. More spells to. Maybe they should make the game have alot of spells to.

Heck yes they should put the magic meter back in the game!! It added a level of difficulty that was missing it TP. I loved how in WW you had to keep track of your Magic meter AND your number of arrows. I was kinda mad when i first played TP; when i saw there was no Magic meter, I thought that the game was gonna be too easy, and suprise!! It was.

I consider Zelda mostly an action adventure game with elements of other genres, instead of primarily an RPG game. Which is why I'd like them to stay away from AoL type gameplay.

I like the magic meter, but that's just my opinion. :/
I'll just wait and see what's in the next Zelda game.

Well if it doesn't compliment the gameplay properly, then I certainly don't.

Magic should feel useful and well intergrated, like in AOL, ALTTP and TWW; not just tacked on for the sake of it like OOT.

How does upgradable spells make Zelda more RPG-like? And Zelda's not really an action RPG in the first place, rather an action-adventure game.

It would be hard to implement, but if nintendo could make some kind of intuitive combat system involving spells and magic-enhanced weapons, I'd buy it. Twice.

I liked the break from the Magic Meter in Twilight Princess. But I'd like to see it back in Zelda Wii

Magic should definitely be brought back into zelda as it brings more variety to the gameplay and lets face it magic is just awesome
