Imagine : Spin-offs

Being acquainted with Nintendo, we all know the Super Mario franchise.
Unlike The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario has a load of spin-off series.

Now imagine that Nintendo would decide to make a spin-off series for the Legend of Zelda ( even though it might not be a fun thing to imagine ).

What would it be?

A Four Swords spin off for the DS would be really cool with the use of the Wi-Fi feature and with PH gameplay style. Like at certain points, you could gather friends, or anybody else around the world and help each other out on beating the game. And there could be other game modes like battle, trade, etc. They were making a Four Swords for the DS, but they cancelled it and changed it to PH.

No sports games, mini games or party games please. That's Mario's job. Although a fishing adventure game in Twilight Princess style would be nice. xD

If there's a spin off series, it should be something like Rupeeland. Meaning, it should follow the Action Adventure gameplay mechanics of a Zelda game, but should not feature Link as the playable character. I've heard, that Vanpool may be working on a sequel to Rupeeland, so if that's really the case, you got your spin off series. xD

Btw, Four Swords is not a spin off game but part of the main series.

Not many choices in the poll.

I would like to see a game where you play as Zelda/Sheik. Say for example the bad guy is attacking the castle and you must escape. You explore Hyrule looking for the Hero to save everyone (eventually coming across a "Gustaff" incarnation of Link)

The game would be more puzzle based and have much more magic use. When playing as Sheik, you fight via melee and any tools you have (which you gain as you progress like Zelda gets spells) aswell as some interesting platforming

Similar to the usual Zelda in a way but takes alot more thought

I think a fighting game spin off would be cool. It worked for Soul Claibur 2.

I liked Link's Crossbow Training. I think a much longer edition of that game, with more locations from other games, would be excellent.
