zelda 2009 story TP or classic

honestly the gameplay from TP was fun and all but the story lacked... just about everything that zelda storys are known for. i mean sure you got the places and some of the more important people, but were are the extra important item(s). like in OoT you got the ocarina,and in MM u got all the crazy masks.(some of which were crushal[so im a bad speeler sue me])
and in wind waker(possibly the overall favorite) you had well... the wind waker most of which was just to go fast but at times needed to get by.

The story and intricacies are the main reason I play Zelda.

Soo...what exactly are you saying here? Are you saying that the next Zelda should have an item central to the story, or what?

i did like how you didnt find out that it was ganon till the end though that was nice. but the story item is the main reason why i like the others more

well im tring to see if people want the upcoming 2009 zelda game to be like TP no story items or classic(i guess not full classic but you know) like OoT and MM

no release "date" or box title yet but they said a 2009 holiday release.

Sharp Flat is correct..they may be making it now, but it wont come out this year...if it does, wow! if it dont, i will not be in the least bit surprised

I think it should be done the classical way. Zelda TP had, like, no flow. The items and the temples didn't flow with the story. You were just going from Snowpeak to the Sacred Grove to the City In The Sky and getting the Spinner, Ball and Chain, etc. until you finally make it to the end, and then there's Ganondorf as the sudden antagonist.
Maybe things would have flowed better if Zant had remained the antagonist, because he was involved with the twilight realm and the twilight princess thus he was involved in the story (whereas Ganondorf hadn't even met Link before he just stands up and fights him at the climax in Hyrule Castle).
Something like Majora's Mask would be better, where Link is inadvertently connected with the antagonist through having Tatl as his sidekick, and her brother Tael being the Skull Kid's sidekick still. Plus all of the masks you collect tied in with the ultimate goal: Getting back Majora's Mask.
A theme like that seemed to be missing from TP. So I would rather that not happen again for a future Zelda.

I can't even understand this post.

I don't get why it's "Classic" to have an item that is linked to the title. Alttp, AoL, LoZ, did not have a main item in the title and they are the classics.

You can't deny that OoT is considered to be the best Zelda game. I personally like MM more, but that isn't the point.
