The Legend Of Zelda: Majoras Mask Remade?

Hey all, I'm new here ^^

See, the first Zelda game I played, was The Legend Of Zelda : Majora's Mask, and I have tried the others too, because I got the Collectors Edition ^^

I simply love the gameplay in MM, because of the quests (Kafei, etc..) which have to be done in a specific time. Practically, the 3-Day-To-Save-Termina System just RAWKS!

There is only one thing that could be better. The Graphics. I know it was not posible back then, but look at how good TP looks! I would love, if Nintendo would make The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask Reloaded ! ^^

Maybe also some new masks, and such, but I love it!

What do you think? ^^

Why bother doing remakes, if you can put your efforts in a new game?

To some point every Zelda fan has a certain favorite Zelda game, he would like to see "Zero Missioned". But in my opinion it's okay, when Nintendo just re-releases those games (like on the VC). Hey, sometimes they even enhance the games by doing this (like in Link's Awakening DX, Master Quest or A Link to the Past: Four Swords). But that should be enough, doing a real remake would waste important development time, they could put in a new exciting game.

Hmm.. yeah, I also have another idea.. I was writing it, and it took me 15 mins non-stop writing, then I press back on my mouse, and it all disappeared so I wont type it again -.-

And this is a similar thread, probably with similar replies soon.

The only games that should be remade are the NES ones. Games from the SNES and N64 generation stoill look and play really well, even today.

Yeah, there's no need for an OoT or MM remake right now.

I would like to see MM on the VC at some point though.

A remake of MM for the DS is a good idea, there are a bunch of remakes for OOT so i think they should remake MM with better graphics and new settings for the DS, just like how Super mario 64 Ds was remade.

i dont remember them making a remake of oot unless you mean it was just ported to the gamecube. i also dont remember them remaking mario 64 fo the ds. the world would be to big for a remake of MM on the ds. but it would still be cool.

Welcome to ZU. I'm going to have to say no to a MM remake though. I'm fine with the graphics as they are.

ok but what about the remakes for oot.

I don't see a point in a MM remake or an OoT remake. Twilight Princess was enough of a reminder for OoT.

Still, MM was awesome. But can you really imagine MM in TP graphics? It'd be a bit too frightening for some of us. And WW graphics might take away from the dark atmosphere a bit.

I still think a MM remake would be better than a remake of OOT for DS. OOT was remade alot of times like OOTMS and it was remade for the gamecube and also it was added to collectors edition and to VC.

They did remake Mario 64 for ds with lots of new features like updated graphics and lots of mini games and new stages.

I'd love to see remakes of OoT and MM. You could update it a bit with modern technology, but still keep it the same game. We need to update it if we want it to survive. N64 games and systems are almost non-existant in stores now. The system will soon be either completely gone or extremely expensive and if our systems break the games won't be able to be played anymore. If we update the classics, it's more likely they'll be put on newer systems and we won't have to worry about losing the games. That's why I just ordered OoT and MQ for Gamecube. Gamecube is getting older now too, but at least I don't have to worry as much.

i really don't like remakes, unless they're OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD games or games that weren't elaborated on storyline-wise.

i see no point, when you can just pick up the title and play it perfectly.
