Zelda RPG

Now, before you yell at me that this would be a stupid idea, let me explain. This idea has slowly been forming in my head. What if Zelda were made into an RPG? A general storyline idea: (Note: this includes the Tetraforce and the Trueforce. I don't believe in either)

Link is at home, and recieves a telepathic call from Zelda. She is in danger. Link grabs a sword and heads out. Arriving at hyrule castle, Link finds a large dragon attacking, and Zelda and Ganondorf fighting it off. Link runs it to helps, and the dragon suddenly changes into the Fierce Deity! He laughs, grabs Zelda and flies off, as she attacks him. Ganondorf turns to Link and tells him that they must rescue Zelda. The whole of reality depends on it.

The duo heads out after the dragon, and you get lots of party members, blah blah blah, and you get to Zelda, at the end of the game. The FD reveals that he possesses the Tetraforce, and laughs. He draws out the ToW, and now has the power to summon the ToC and ToP. He draws them out and creates the Truefoce, they fight, blah blah blah.

This is obviously a veeeeeeeeeery Beta Storyline. Whaddaya think?

What the hell is the tetraforce?

Plus why would Ganon team up with Link? He isn't the kind of person to do that. That and you say "what if Zelda was an RPG" when the only RPG type of gameplay there is a party system.
Also why the FD? Isn't he a figment of the Skull Kids imagination while possessed by Majoras Mask?

The Tetraforce is theory that says there is a fourth part to the Triforce, and it belongs to the FD. Ganondorf would team up with Link, because if reality is shattered by the awesome power of the Trueforce (All four triforces put together) he's screwed. It's simple self-presevation.

1- Why Tetraforce? Why that name?
2- There is no theory, it has no facts to make it a theory. There is no fourth piece of the triforce (if it was, it would be the quadforce) as there were only 3 goddesses who created Hyrule and the Triforce represents them
3- Despite self preservation, Ganon would rather take on the threat alone than join Link
4- Reality would only be shattered due to the impossibility of a Tetraforce even existing. There is no fourth piece

I don't think there really should ever be a zelda rpg, but nintendo should try to make a close to the feel of a zelda game and make that an rpg. You know, to not anger the people who wouldn't neccisarly like zelda rpg, but still cater to people who would. Personally, i wouldnt mind a zelda rpg.

Thing is, why? If it stays close to the Zelda feel which is exploring the world, multiple items and such, there wouldn't be much room for the RPG elements unless its an action RPG and even then, why bother? Theres not that much difference

Dude, you dodn't seem to get this. People didn't think Ganon could be human until ALttP, and people don't believe in the Tetraforce, myself included. (I didn't come up with that name. IDK who did.) And by the way, in LoZ and AoL, there was no third Triforce, disproving your "Quadforce" idea. It's just becaus they are triangles.

I wouldn't be surprised with the whole Ganon and Link team. Nintendo did team Mario and Bowser in Super Paper Mario.

1- Just because nobody thought Ganon could be human till OoT, doesn't mean they can change who he is like that. OoT was his origin story and thus you can't make up a new story for his origin that conflicts with the current one. Same way you can't completely change his personality

2- There can't be a quadforce because OoT explained the origin of the Triforce. Sure there was no 3rd piece till ALttP but that doesn't mean there can be one now. They explained how the triforce was made and its a story that does not leave room for a 4th piece, thats what I mean

Also just because Mario had Bowser team up with him, does not mean it will have Link and Ganon team up, Zelda is not the kind of game that has Link and Ganon playing tennis together and stuff like that. You want Link and Ganon teaming up, it would only work in Smash Bros

Eh, I don't care much for the plot of any "future-Zelda", I'm more of a game-mechanic-guy myself.

So would it be a team based RPG? Like Final Fantasy? Would you control Link just like in other Zelda's, with the battles on a 'battle-screen'?
Or would it be like Morrowind or Oblivion, with your teammates following behind you?

What would make it a RPG? Numerical stats and/or dialoque options? The change to cross-dress Link as an ugly Zelda?

No, I haven't put much thought into it, and I kinda just wanted to see what other people thought.
