Links of the past

How about in the next zelda game the villian is to strong for the new link so he has to get them from the past. So just like sages he would go from temple to temple saving them. Because the new evil locked them up when they were summoned out of the past.

To me, this sounds like OoT in reverse.

With a hint of Four Swords Adventures on the side. My opinion.

So you'd have a bunch of Links just bashing this Ganon at the end?

If that's what you mean... that is a crazy idea, and at first I rejected it. But man, that could be epic if done right.

And I can see Nintendo pulling some crazy idea out of no where.

But as Khao said, to awaken Links going from one temple to an other could be OoT cliché... and you know how the fans hate that.

I could see some cool possibilities for this, where at least, you would in some way play as Links from across eras. I think it would be cool to have an updated version of the original Link or something.

Then, you could have Link meet the Link impersonator in that and a Link allusion guy!

Wow I just thought it would be neat, because the time travel element is really interesting and I think lots of different games could be made from this concept. and they would be awesome.

It could be good, but I don't like it. If an enemy was so strong Link couldn't handle it, then he would need better items and the help of Zelda. Lots of Links in a game is just bad. I didn't like Four Swords.

4 swords was not my thing either, I am saying just 1 player, maybe you could alternate links or something but Zelda is not multi player.

I've considered the idea, but it would mean Nintendo would have to get their timeline straight somehow, which I highly doubt will ever happen.

haha that's true... they say there is in fact a time line... so they would have to sum all of that up

so....link can't beat ganon, so he goes to the past to find....younger versions of himself..? how about if he went deep inti the past to find other links? not just older or younger versions of the same link? apologies if this is what you origonally posted, but i didn't understand it.
