Re: i hope the next wii zelda doesnt use the motion to death

Twilight princess's controls were actually pretty nice, which kinda surprised me.

I expected them to go all out and allow you to control the angle of the sword and ****, but they actually pulled the attack method off rather well. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the manual aiming, it was a tad bit too sensitive for my tastes.

Re: i hope the next wii zelda doesnt use the motion to death

Well, TP was originally for Game Cube. So who knows what the next Zelda for Wii will be like. It may be that they do something more snazzy. The six-axis controller for the PS3 is a headache sometimes... maybe I'm just not that coordinated.

Re: i hope the next wii zelda doesnt use the motion to death

Come on guys, haven't you heard of the Wii Motion Plus. Nintendo is wanting to really explore what the Wii M Plus can do... I'm expecting better controls than TP. Most likely 1:1 sword fighting... maybe only when Z-targeting (hahaha, good old OoT vocabulary)

Whatever the case, we can expect to have very "real-feel" controls... if they use the Wii Motion Plus.

Re: i hope the next wii zelda doesnt use the motion to death

I'm sure that Nintendo had Zelda in mind when they cam up with the motion plus and I wouldn't be surprised if it came bundled in with the game if their releases are near the same time. It could maybe be used like, when you Z-target an enemy it locks on and the motion plus kicks in mimicing your moves. You could watch your enemy swing at you and quickly swing back to block it, then strike quickly to do damage. Press Z-targeting again to turn off the motion plus. When using the sword without Z-targeting it could be more like TP's swordplay.

Re: i hope the next wii zelda doesnt use the motion to death

i am sure it will be a major part of the gameplay, and the game will be built around the notion of using it extensively
that will probebly be its main innovation, using the full potential of the wii mote

so TOO BAD HATERS

also, im pretty sure that itll be pretty different from tp
they have said that quite a few times

The makers of Zelda has not once failed our hopes into making something so utterly crap and I think you should know very well that they develop games that are greater than we can ever imagine.

So don't whinge. Just sit back and let them do their work to please you.

I'm a girl. No sir

I didn't see any problems with Tp on Wii. It was a brilliant game and they didn't go over the top with the motion sense remote controllers. They were nowhere near over the top.

There is an option to turn off navi and use it like GC style if needed. I do it sometimes when my wrists are sore from motion contrlling all the time.

I think the next game will be much better.

TP was only a run down. The next game will blow us away with amazing style and new gameplay.

Have faith kid.

That's exacly what I'm saying. I think with the wii motion plus, when you sword fight, it'll be something pretty close to 1:1. But it won't be overly annoying.

Oh and Eternal Legend, I love reading your posts... they reassure of my faith in Nintendo... in a warm fluffy way.

I heard somewhere that the next Zelda game will change the franchise drastically, taking it in a new direction. What this means for LoZ though I have no idea.

^ Yes, TP and PH are the "last Zelda's of their class"

Though we've had that thread a billion times around E3.

But, I'm sure the subject could be revived yet again.

Nawww... Stop making me blush! ^_^"

But yes, I have faith in Nintendo. I can't even feel shame or worry in the next Wii Zelda release because I trust them to handle and make things so well.

Have they ever put us down in the years of developing Zelda? Nup.

Re: i hope the next wii zelda doesnt use the motion to death

They said they have been working on this new game since before the release of TP. The controls are going to be different than TP's like they said, and they are going to innovative and all the haters out there just shut up a little bit. You really think that when a game has been in the workings specifically for these controls, and they said it was going to e the last traditional Zelda that they are going to drop the ball completely. It is obvious that when this game comes out people will be hating on it no matter what the controls or the game is like. So yes the conrols are going to be using the motion controls so if you don't like it deal with it.

It is relatively well explained in that thread. It's going to blow your mind.
