Do You Assume Young of Adult Link?

Usually when someone says "Link" you get a picture in your head that shows what Link is too you. For me I usually see adult Link while others see young Link.

In the next Zelda do you assume Link will be young or an adult. I think I assume young Link because he is the default Link in the series. But a lot of people think that adult Link is the true Link dispite being in a very few games. So I was just wondering.

You don't have to think about this, just the first answer that comes up is fine.

Generally I think of adult Link because I like him a lot more than his younger self.

But when someone mentions "MM" or "WW" or any of the other game where only young Link stars in, then young Link comes into my mind.

im pretty sure itll be young link in the next game, as they are trying to be more acessible etc.

I hink young link because i always thought if that kid could do that stuff why can't I be awesome

Adult Link is in four games:
AoL, OoT, TP, LCT

Child Link is in:
LoZ, ALttP, LA, OoT, MM, OoS/OoA, FS, TWW, FSA, TMC, PH

So I tend to think of Young Link, I'd say.

Ive been playing a Mix of TP and MM but i think of Adult link dont know why.

Young link, I think he's the better character.

Oh yeah, I hope for child link but it'll probably be adult. I go against the flow :3

I've though that AL is less disproportional and realistic. I usually think of AL.

LoZ is said to take place several years before AoL, and in AoL, he's 16....so I'd say he's young in LoZ. aLttP/LA it's a little more debatable.


I'd kinda like to see Child Link as the star of the next game. I think a TP sequel is semi-likely though, so it may very well be Adult Link.

For me they are what define him from some blonde person with pointy ears.

Adult Link is what I usually think when people say link. Unless of course they mention a game with it.

If you say 3d zelda I think of young link. If talking about 2d i see alttp link overall i'd say young link MM Oot

I personally imagine both. It just depends sometimes.

I hate it when people use the shortened versions of the titles (ex. Twilight Princess is TP) because it takes me a while to get what you are saying.

I always assume Young Link when someone says Link, mainly 'cause Young Link is the star of MM, my favourite Zelda.


I'm not quite sure how old the WW Link is, as he is in a very cartoony style, but I still think Young Link if someone refers to him.

He was twelve. It mentioned this at the very beginning.

I usually imagine adult Link. I'm sorry, but I have trouble seeing a 12-14 year old boy as a world saving paladin of might.

I'm hoping that the next Zelda has Young Link. But I won't really mind either age, so long as it's not gonna be an Old Link, or Null Link.
