Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

No. Those three items were pathetic. Dins Fire was needed only once, Nayru's love was cheap, and Farore's win was useless.

Magic meter fine
Those three pieces of crap: no. They were meant to be one time only things and that's how they'll stay.

First off, what's with the all-caps title?

Secondly, I would much rather see new items than rehashes, thank you very much.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

I would only like the MMeter to return just for it to occupy space beneath the Hearts, it was boring in TP unless you had all twenty hearts.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

Yes magic meter no to the rehashing of items. They should make magic a more prominate source of attacking in my opinion. More elemental fights with new weapons that use the magic meter to me would be sweet, and you could have more puzzles with more magic based items and still have the other ones too. I just would think that more emphasis on the magic side of zelda on the wii would be cool cause of the motion control and aiming of your spells.

There was a magic meter in the trailers of TP, ohwell, I wasn't that bothered. I dont mind if it does or it doesn't turn up in Zelda Wii.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

what id like is for the 'partner' character to be the magic meter and tool for using magic
and over the course of the game the partner would be upgraded to use different magical abilities
and you can combine the partner magic attacks with links attacks to enhance them
and all kinds of cool stuff

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

Yes they should bring back the magic meter but din's fire, nayrus love etc. aren't really needed. I want to see the ice, fire and light arrows return.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

a) Bring back magic meter.
b) STOP MAKING MAGIC JARS SO DAMN COMMON. Make it more spread out. In OoT for example, it was that you either had full or none, but 90% of the time it was full. Make it so you have to actually conserve it, perhaps making big magic jars available only when you have the big magic meter?

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

I don't know why having a meter is so bloody important, but the use of various new magics in a new Zelda game could contribute to both combat and puzzles, so that might be somthing Nintendo ould explore.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

Tp was meant to be realistic. Bringing back the magic meter would take that realism away. Besides, there was no use for it in TP.

The fire and ice arrows are just gameplay elements. You don't really need to use them. And Zelda is in charge of the light arrows, which I think should stay that way.

So my hand raises for no magic meter.

Realistic?

or

seems less plausible to occur than magic, in my opinion.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

I'm impartial towards the magic meter. If it's used in the next one, cool. If it's not, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

I'm sorry, but this logic fails and doesn't make much sense.

If TP was supposed to be so "realistic," then you should be complaining more about the inventory system. How on earth is he carrying around his own armory the whole time? How can he carry around ball and chain, giant hammers, and a weapons cache of bombs and arrows all at once with little to no effort? Never mind a simple magic meter.

Yeah.

Re: BRING BACK THE MAGIC METER

Only bring the magic meter back if Link is gonna have t use more magics. It would be cool if you could do things like make lightning fall upon helpless bokoblins, throw fireballs to stalfos, or make pillars of light desced upon darknuts.

That would make things WAY too easy. Darknuts are supposed to be challenging!
