The Hell of Zelda

Idk if this was ever a thread but what do you think about the underworld or hell of zelda. Like making a new zelda game based on going back and forth between the Hyrule we know and also to where everyone ends up? Either Hyrules heaven or hell. It could explain alot of how things work when it came to choosing the diff heros and you could end up meeting old friends that have died in previous Zelda games. or if you want to call them the underworld or a different dimension where all these things take place.
What do you think?

they could have three worlds, a heaven-like world, a hell-like world, and the normal world. three different worlds to explore instead of them all being the same like OoT and TP

that's exactly what i was thinking. it would be really epic.

There doesn't seem to be an afterlife in the games.

How exactly would this be applicable to any story or character?

link may not be the main character in it, or maybe he is either way something might take place where the only way to save hyrule was to find the deepest evil possible and the fight it at its core, and we will find out where all these people go after death and see how princess zelda gets her dream from and all the other mysteries surrounding diff things that have happened in the other zelda games

Zelda does not run on Christian Mythology.

There is no heaven nor is there a hell, no god and no devil.

so the gods that created hyrule don't exist. even if there are multiple gods there can be an afterlife

Goddesses created the world in which Hyrule exists. There is no mention of an afterlife, and there is certainly no devil.

No need for a hell if you lack a devil.

it doesnt even have to be a "devil" if there is good like the gods who created hyrule there would more than likely have to be an evil equal to it.and the gods must live somewhere.

There's no "mystery" surrounding Zelda games. They're pretty straight-forward.

And the godesses live in the SR, or rather, adjacent to.

And why does there have to be a hell?

Uhm no mae, the existence of a devil is not due to the existence of a "good" god.

Devil is a misnomer really. The very word "satan", and no, it is not a name, means "antagonist".

Many so called devils in other religious mythos are really more like guardians of the underworld, or in some cases necessary aspects to other gods.

As no one can be completely good.

The goddesses never claim to be benevolent, they are more in the middle.
Antagonism is found within the earthly races of Hyrule, in the hearts of the men who walk the face of the world.

There is no cosmic evil in Hyrule, much like there is no cosmic evil in reality.

They banished people to the Twilight Realm, but it is certainly not hell, in fact Midna remarks that it is quite beautiful.

Ganondorf banishes Phantom Gannon to "the realm between the twilight realm and the light world" (or whatever)

The space between realms, basically he banishes him into oblivion. A better word would be dimensions.

would about the world where dark link comes from(I think he comes from another world but I haven't played a game with him in it)?
