Female Link or customazible Link?

Yes. I keyed in "Female Link", got a page with well, Female Links.

Oh, OK. Try page 2 of "female link". I can't quite remember what I typed for the transdorf, but it was something like "girl link" or something along those lines.

Those female Links on DeviantArt is quite scary Why do they add so much sexuality to it? How about a young female Link, similar to Aryll in WW? Something cute and not 'sexy' at least.

Well, I guess you need attraction for the male gamers to play it as well. I don't suppose a kiddish cute female Link would attract guys to play it.

I guess with what I am currently thinking, I am happy to stick with the male Link. The original Link.

Nintendo wouldn't whore a female Link.
They treat the zelda females with respect.

No reason why they'd be unable to give a female Link the treatment she deserves.

Exactly, if you look at Samus, she's not whored out, they treat her with respect. Samus may also be the reason there is no female link. There is already a female main character.

I like this one:

Zero Suit Samus in my opinion was a bit thrown off in Brawl. I don't know. Maybe it's just me but it seemed as though they kept focusing the camera on her butt or breasts.

They might do the same thing if Link was ever a female hero.

That's probably just you. I can't imagine that the change the camera solely to have breasts on screen. Your eyes are probably just drawn to it. You are a guy not?

In the end they can keep Link male, they'll never change Mario in to a female. But if I have to choose between customizing or "Link-et" I'll rather have the latter.

The more I look at it the less I like it. It could honestly be Link before he fixed his tunic properly.

If they did a female Link, she'd have to have longer hair. (noticeable length overall)

Why can't there be both?

If a game features a customizable Link, and a Male/Female option, I would invision it would go something like this...

Link as default regardless of sex, but able to change it to whatever the player wishes

~*Horse Name*~ (If there is one in the game)
Epona as default, but able to change it too.

Personally, I would really like to see something like this in a Zelda game. The series is in desperate need of change in many different ways. Those of you who say, "Link must be a guy, or it isn't Zelda," I say: Shut up and go back to playing OoT for the rest of your lives because the series was BUILT on innovation, and going out on a limb to make a new experience for the player.

This thread also reminds me I need to get cracking on my own customization idea in regards to weapons. >_>

I'd start off with charms you can add onto your sword first before going all the way to customisable weapons.

You could have 3 types of charms, scrolls wrap around the handle, medalions hand from the end of the handle and emblems rest of flat parts of the weapon.

That and being able to have different types of weapons such as spears, hammers, axes, ect. Each one can hold a certain amount of each charm (spears can hold the most scrolls, hammers the most emblems, ect.)
