Female Link or customazible Link?

You know what I mean, those yells would sound out of place from a girl. Remember TP's Great Spin Attack?

How would yells and shouts sound out of place from a girl? Are we too dainty or something?

Besides, I've always thought Link's shouts were humorous. I don't think it would be that different with a female protagonist.

I find it really interesting that so many people care about the sex of the protagonist. I mean, do people really think it will be that different? Just have the dialogue replace "young man" with "young woman," and you're pretty much done with most of the major changes.

Having a female protagonist wouldn't necessitate any major changes.
It's not as if Link and Zelda ever have any connections beyond friendship.

TP was the first modern Zelda with romantic undertones, and it wasn't between Link and Zelda.

I don't see why that would prevent a change as simple as the sex of the MC.

I have an answer for everyone who says that a female protagonist would ruin the game:

Don't play as the girl!!!

If this idea were ever put into a Zelda game, you would most likely pick whether you are male or female Link. If you think the female Link idea sucks, play as the boy. Easy fix. I would welcome the idea because it brings that much more customization into the franchise. I like customization, so having another option is definitely my vote.

Meh I'd rather there be no choice at all.

That only distances the main character even more from the story, and we've already got a character who's words are never seen.

I disagree, link stands for link and not the player i think maybe differnt armour such as helms,bodys,legs etc. would be cool but not a female link.He has always been a guy and always will be.

Link stands for the player, so says Miyamoto.
It is not debatable.

A female Link just to upset the angry teens would be so satisfying.

Sometimes I'm hoping that they do a big change and that half the fanboys will go mad. I would just sit there and laugh.

They never would. Zelda, like the Wii, Prints money.

Only the fanboys will throw a fit, though; Nintendo is marketing towards more casual gamers, who are more open to change.

That said, I wouldn't mind having a female Link.
