It just had an idea for the Next Zora Amor. It is a bit more armorlike than the one in TP, and has two iron gauntlets. Two curved blades can come out of these, and if you use the "boomerang" while underwater, the two iron blades come out and act like the Zora fins from MM. You can also use them as two swords while underwater.

Am I the only one who thinks that there is some potential in this idea? Not that the Transformation theme hasn't already been done to death already as a major plot device, but this sort of itemry has practical applications beyond that of a MacGuffin, anyway.

Rather than a mirror, I suggest a sort of weapon. When Link land the killing blow on a foe with this weapon, he assumes the form and identity of the defeated enemy, complete with all of that foe's strengths and weaknesses. And why end it there? Additionally, you could add the ability to converse with enemies of the same class (where appropriate), giving opportunity for some interesting dialogue and possibly even some zany side-quests. It would certainly be useful in a situation that demands stealth, for certain.

How about a rod that allows link to cast different spells?

Also, BLAST ARROWS: they consume magic rather than bombs, fly straight and detonate on a timer

This is not really a weapon, but more of a transportation item. We all know how annoying it is to travel through water, or even along the surface to reach someplace.

I suggest a device that pulls Link through the water at high speeds, kinda like the zora mask. This could be an upgraded version of the zora armor, but it will get rid of that annoying factor in almost every zelda game.

I suggest these:[

1. Link should have double swords. I mean like maybe a sidequest item or there should be a story where the Master Sword and the Four Sword combine but that Link has an item so he won`t split in 4. It can came after PH under the sea.

2. Link should have Tingle as a weapon. I mean, its like the Tngle Tuner but with no player 2 and that Tingle is inside him with a curse and that he serves as the Tingle Tuner and as Navi.

3. A good SPINOFF NONCANON would be the Majora`s Mask.

4. Link should have a transformation mask, mayb only 1. He should be kind of an extint race, deity, or new race. A good one would be a Rito, Gerudo, Kokiri, Tokay.

5. Different color tunics like the purple, black, white, new hero clothes. they all serve different purposes

6. Last one. May be stupid but most people will agree. Mario Mask. Not really from Mario but a warrior that looks like Mario and that fights like Mario 64.

how about shadow arrows? like, you could use them to create darkness in certain areas. Perhaps used in puzzles where light and dark play roles

what about some form of a remote controlled connector? like a piece of adhesive metal arrowhead connected to a llooooonnnngggg wire rope. than you could attach some item such as a bomb or grappling hook to the end and fire it through a small hole or up a wall and set it off by remote control. for example

1. you see a wall in front of you that can only be destroyed from the inside, so you put a bomb on special arrowhead, fire it through a small hole in the wall that is too high to throw a bomb through, release the bomb from the arrowheadl. and boom!

2. there is a chandelier above you that you need to pull down to open the door in front of you (like the switched in the city in the sky), however there is a ceiling between you and the chandelier, with a small hole that is way too small for clawshot or grapplehook. so you attach the miniature collapsible grapple hook to the arrowhead. fire the arrow through the small hole getting the arrowhead slightly stuck in the rungs of the chandelier (yes I know this isn't a best situation for this idea but I'm thinking on my feet here). than you activate the grapple hook extending the hooks, once you have a good hold you simply jump onto the rope, pull the chandelier down, open the door, collapse the grapple hook, pull it back through the hole and continue.

Ok I thought of something. Deku Nut landmines. Your enemy would step on one. Which would cause it to fly up into the air. About chest level for Adult Link from OoT. And then would stun them.

Yes, or more than stun them, depending on the the enemy.

More weapons like these! They present versatile styles and tactics of play, instead of Z-Targeting and pushing a button at the right time.

The Hollow Bomb.

Basically, they are compact explosives inside hollow bomb shells. The bomb itself deals little to no damage, and is basically useless against enemies, and you can't break objects with it either.

The catch is to fill the bomb with something. Then, when it explodes, it's contents will be sprayed all around, creating various effects. These could include:

-Lamp oil = fire bomb, lights enemies/objects on fire.
-Water = can be used to extinguish flames/fire based enemies, maybe in some other puzzles too (creating patches of ice in an ice cavern etc).
-Some sort of smoke pulver = smoke bombs, you can cover your escape/dazzle enemies.
-Poison = well, you can poison enemies with it.
-Healing potion = you can uh . . . heal enemies with it? Hmmm.
-Nails, glass, other sharp objects = fragmentation grenade.
-And many more!

(Note: maybe it's for the best that you can't stuff faeries or other living beings inside these bombs; that would be cool but cruel!)

Cocco Bomb = .... hehehe.

I like your idea a lot. What is more, I can actually see Nintendo put something LIKE this in a Zelda game.

only problem I see is, why would you need to cover you're escape? seeing as you're faster than most enemies and that they almost immediately lose interest when you leave they're line of sight. now if the enemies were smarter and faster this could work.

also....thing kinda sounds like a customizable bomb from fallout 3.

True, it would only be useful at a harder Zelda (that the Wii-one will hopely be ).

I think it would be useful to have the ability to add a spike on your shield so if you would shield bash it could deal some damage and open up some opportunities for a nice combo. Only one spike though, having 10 spikes on the hylian shield would be a bit obnoxious.

You should also be able to get like hooves with some spikes on it or extra metal so if you get close to an enemy Epona could rear back and kick the enemy right in the face.

I know this sounds a bit extreme but I think he could have some sort of armored plating to put on his hat so he could head-but the enemy and make even more combos.

There could also be an exclusive object for the Gerudo place. A camel. Epona would not survive the deserts for long so link could hop on his useful camel named Muzzy and give those Gerudans a surprise!

(You can forget the Muzzy part...)
