Denomic Beast From The Abyss, The Shadow
Possibly the Devil himself, The Shadow is one of the most terrifying bosses in Zelda history.
The Stage: One the platform located in the middle of a lake filledwith dark red water (possibly blood). The stage is similar to the one where you fight Bongo Bongo in
OoT although the platform doesn't vibrate.
You fight The Shadow in 3 forms, which are all invincible to all weapons except light arrows which will temporaily make it vaunrable to your sword.
Form 1, Beast
In this form, The Shadow appears as a large black cloud in the shape of a head, with two glowing red eyes and very sharp teeth. The Shadow will attack by shooting swarm of bubbles fly out it 's mouth for about 10 seconds then it will close it's mouth. You must take out our bow and shoot it's two eyes with your Light Arrows which will cause it to be paryalized for a short period of time and will crash onto the platform, where you must strike with your sword. After repeating this 7 times, the Shadow will transform into it's second form.
Form 2, Demon
The Shadow will shrink it's size down a bit and will take the shape of a large muscular man with a skull shaped head, with a large axe in it's hand. If you're near the edge of the platform, undead skeletons will jump out of the lake and will latch onto you and more skeletons will jump out onto you and will hold you down so that The Shadow can damage you with it's axe. In order to avoid being piled on by the skeletons, you need to press the A button repativly once on get's a hold of you but staying away from the edges is a much more better method. In order to stop The Shadow in this form is to hit it's head with a light arrow which will paraylize it for a minute and while it's paryazlied you must hit it with your sword.
Final Form, Dark Link
The Shadow will transform into, yep, that's right, Dark Link. Now here is where things get's tricky, he not only copies your every move, but he is also very fast and can easily dodge your light arrows. So must time it right if you want to succed in hitting him with your arrows.
After you pull a final strike, he will begin to melt until he is nothing more than a oil like liquid that drips into the lake, which then dries out. He then says, "Light does not always out shine Dark, one day I will be back."
