Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
NEWBIE here... The Deity of Night's Spirit
Anyway, there could be a boss that you must battle in these three scenarios... 1.} You must defeat it in a time period (perhaps before it turns night, when it is at its strongest) 2.} Changing the time of day would have to be incorporated into the battle. (not so much as to it is fastidious) 3.) You can either choose to defeat it at night or day, depending on when you complete the dungeon. (This could, perhaps, boost replayability.) Perhaps, all these scenarios could be incorporated into a massive boss battle (doubt it) The Boss' Appearance and Mechanics The boss looks like your typical phantom (at night), except he wields these black orbs and a scythe. In day mode, the orbs disappear. Also, in the daytime, the scythe is a staff with slightly different properties. The corresponding weapon for this boss, well Link will have to use a sword, staff, or other implement to change the time of day to rid him of the pestering orbs. For these orbs purpose aren't only for attacking, but to regenerate the boss once his main body is defeated. There are seven orbs in total, destroy the orbs using the light of the day somehow. I dunno, I've gotten passionate and typed to much, sssssssorry. |

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
What would you like to see?
A boss that is a cooler version of argarok or maybe a wizard person thing. Any certain items you'd like to use against the boss? Arrows, sword, bombs??? How much damage should his attacks cause? alot maybe he could be a form of gannonShould the boss follow the three hit / five hit pattern? No, it should be even more, because the last boss fight should be intense.

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
Quaferon
Located in the deepest depht of Forsaken mountain, is Inferial sorcerer, Quaferon. Quaferon is monster, moving swiftly across the area. It resembles little phantom Ganon from WW, being also big and moving swiftly. Although this is very swift compared to PG. Quaferon creates minions who attack Link. Mainly keese, also including Droglins, Hooverers, Fire keese, Phantoms, Floating spears and Shadows. The arena is simply circle, but it has few platforms up there. You don't need to use them, but they contain few pots. Phase 1 In the arena there are some lighter spots than usual. Hitting these with the hammer results a light beam coming up. When the boss goes over one of these, it goes visible for few seconds. Hit it now with arrow so you can see him. He now starts to fire spells at you. Try to catch one of them to your Koroks wand, and fire back to him. Hitting him with Fireball makes you able to see next spell, and thunderstorm makes him little slower. You must catch Ghost sword and release it to him. If it hits, the boss gets grounded and starts phase 2. Attacks in sorcerer stage: Fireball (1 heart) Quaferon hits you with a fireball. Dodge it swiftly because this is very fast. Thunderbolt (1 ½ hearts) Fires a energyball of thunder that bounces in the arena. You can block this with your reflector shield, treflect it with your sword or catch it with Koroks wand. Illusions Quaferon is moving swiftly across the air and leaves copies of it behind. The only way to detect the false from real is by keeping eye on the movements of the real thing. The illusions can cast one spell before disappearing, but this does no damage. Quaferon leaves from 2 to 4 copies behind. Ghost sword (2 hearts) Shadow of a sword floats infront of you and trys to hit you. Only way to stop this is to hit the ghost who controls this. Try to think where the ghost is and hit it with arrow. The ghost becomes real and a hit from sword makes it disappear. Meteor shower (1 hearts/meteor) Quaferon starts a shower of meteors. Use the reflection in water to dodge these. This last for 20 seconds. Cannot be catched. Phase 2 Quaferon starts to grow a thick steel armor around himself. This armor holds many parts. He is now standing at the height of 1½ Darknut. The armor has many parts, and Quaferon also has a giant axe. Each tiime you chop the piece of armor of, Quaferon becomes little more nimble. Basicly, you must dodge his attacks and hit him while he attacks with his combo. So while he is doing his 8 piece combo, hit him after you have dodged the jump attack at the end. After you have sliced major part of the armor of, you must hit him with thrust at the end of his combo. Other attacks wont affect him. When he loses his armor, he is basicly a very nimble warrior. When you chop him in three pieces, you would think it ends. But after this comes phase 3. Attacks in Armored warrior phase: Horizontal swipe (1 ½ hearts) Quaferon trys to cut you in half. Backflip dodges this. Vertical cut (1 ½ heart) Quaferon will try to slice you into two pieces. Sidestep can dodge this. Spin rampage (1 heart/hit) Starts Hurricane spin. Roll away from this. L-targeting and sidestepping/backflipping does not work. Smash (2 hearts) Quaferon smashes his axe to the ground, dodge at the last moment or Quaferon will move. 8-hit combo (1/4 heart/hit) Hits with thrustes, swipes and all kind of attacks. Hard to dodge them all. You have to Block with shield, backflip, and sidestep at the same time. running does not work because Quaferon is now very swift. Ends with Jump attack that deals 3/4 heart damage. Thrust (1 heart) Simple attack. Block this with shield. Slash (½ heart) Quick slash. Backflip. Usually comes before thrust. Earthquake (½ heart per hit) Quaferon starts to hit the ground with his axe. Backflip whenever the axe hits the ground. Hits the ground 3 times. Jump attack (3 heart) Really nasty attack. Quaferon charges and jumps at link with his Axe. Dodge by backflipping or sidestepping. Axe throwing (1 ½ heart) Throws his Axe at you. Easy to dodge. Kicking (½ heart) Occasionally Quaferon may kick. This damages you little, but you fly to the other end of the room. Phase 3 The body has now split into three parts, his feet, hands and head. The hands and feet start to get grey, and they are turning to stone. The head now controls them all. You must hit the head to its eyes 1 arrow each. When they shut you can hit the orb on the forehead of it. you cannot L-target the orb, so it's tricky. When you shoot the orb, the parts fall to the ground and you can drop bomb to one of them. You can do this in any way you like, but you cannot destroy the head. When you have destroyed 2 parts of the body, the head starts to fire new spells, namely Shadow ball and Laser eyes. When you have exploded every part of the body, you must only store the Shadow ball with Kokiris wand, and throw that on Quaferons orb. Now he falls... No. Incoming phase 4. Attacks at Fragment phase: Slam (1 ½ heart) The hands try to slam you against the ground. Easy to dodge. Stomp (1 ½ heart) The feets try to stomp you. Easy to dodge too. Press (2 hearts) The hands try to slam you between each other. Try to squueze from the trouble. Kick (1 heart) The foot trys to kick you. They can hit you to another foot or under a hand. Drop (3 hearts) Lethal move. All the parts drop from the roof and fall to the floor. Look for the reflection in the water. Shadow ball (1 ½ hearts) Fast ball is fired from the head. If it hits, you cannot use any items for 5 seconds. Laser eyes (1 heart/beam) Two beams open from the eyes of the head. They try to burn you. So fast that you must roll to avoid them. Phase 4 The head shrinks now into a tiny size. It moves quickly around the arena. One hit from the sword will kill it. It now shatters into dust, forming 4th gem to the Master sword, making it now more powerful. Attacks in phase 4: Contact (½ heart) It runs into you. Or more probably, you run into it. General This is designed to be aggressive and difficult boss, with the goal of two hows for the player. How do I hurt it, and how can I execute that hurting move. Backstory done later. Caldrios (The miniboss of Spiritual palace) Caldrios is not so big monster, but it's more terrifying. In its circular arena, it is very skilled. Caldrios is basicly very skilled mage. It teleports around the arena, up in the platforms. since it's ghost, you have to reflect light to it. Otherwise all just passes through it. Caldrios starts the battle by appearing in behind you, in front of you, and finally up in the air. It shoots energyballs at you the effects are: Fire smoke - Basic. Does 1 heart damage. Dark smoke - Summons enemies. It summons Darknuts, Shadows and Floating spears. Invicible smoke - Cannot do anything for 10 seconds. Purple dark smoke - Beware. If it hits, it splits into 8 missiles that circle to Link. Each does 1/4 heart damage. Spin attack. Hitting this back does damage 5 hitpoints. Damaging it: The boss has 15 HP Arrow does 2 Hitpoints Aqua and Fire arrows 3 Hitpoints Boomerang does 1 Hitpoint Reflected Purple smoke 5 Hitpoints When it dies, you receive Soul container. You can store souls into them (enemies's souls). |

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
Hmm, new bosses...hum....lemme think, okays, here's one that's pretty tough. Bah, Nintendo thinks they're nasty *sticks tongue out* try this one on for size!
The guardian of Flames, DoubleDragon! Appearance: Okay so think of this guy as a combination of Twinrova and the Twin mold in MM. Basically it's about twice the soze of the dragon in TP. Two heads and it's body looks a bit like Ridly from Metroid. (I can find referance photo if needed) One is an icy blue, the other head a flaming red. Reward: Flare Gauntilets, Powerful gloves that give link the might of a dragon! Not only does it Allow the user to smash through even steel walls(only in certain areas of course), when the magic meeter is charged. It also allowes the user to engage in Mele combat, hand to hand with flaming or icy barriers around closed fists. Time your strike expertly, and Link (the player) will be able to catch the attackers sword mid-swing. Then remove it and take them out easilly. Weapons to use?: Please, why would I make it easier on you to figure out it's weakpoint? ![]() Phase 1 remove armor and attack primary weakpoint: The first trick (and easiest part of the fight mind you) is to remove his armor, the only way to use this is to check your inventory for a particular tool. When you have it, latch on to lockable areas in various spots. (Shoulders, chest, head etc) Make sure you have the iron boots on or else! Once the armor is removed, look to the cieling, use another particular item to send the stalagtites falling down on top of him. When he's pinned circle around him and slash his tail as many times as possible. Repeat this until the crystal shatters and he gets a tad pissed. Double Dragon is now at half his health! Phase 2 Reflect the elements to it's opposite: Here's where it gets interesting, Once his tail is shattered, DoubleDragon will start tossing blasts of super cooled air, or moltan magma at you. Use the same stratagy you did fighting Kotake and Komue in OOT. Double Dragon is a bit wiser than the two old hags, it's heads will ocasionally change colors when you least expect it. Watch out for it's ocasional ground quake attack, this brings a rain of stone uppon you for a few moments.(though this is easilly avoidable if you watch your step) Reflect two or three attacks on each head untill it passes out, then attack the crystal on either head as many times as you can. Rinse and repeat until the fire crystal and ice crystal are shattered. Now he's reaaally pissed at you! Phase 3, use the environment to your advantage: Now for the tricky part, by now you've probably noticed the differently colored pipes on the cieling and walls of the areena, either red or blue. Double Dragon will begin flying in and out of the arena through holes in the wall. Use your brains to fire bomb arrows at the correct pipe when the opposite head is underneath it or near it. When he get's knocked down, use your hookshot to get onto his back and slash the crystal until it breaks, good job you've almost finished him! Now to get rid of the beast once and for all. Phase 4 Destroy doubledragon by destroying the center platform with proper timing: Now for the really hard part! Your arena is similar to the one where you faced the miniboss in the goron mines in TP, only there's also a large stone pillar (that's become quite worn down from the fight) DoubleDragon has lost his wings, now he's strictly using mele attacks. Keep an eye out for four platforms moving in and out from the walls over the lava. Take a look at the chains holding the platform up, there's the trick! Avoid his attacks at all costs, and do NOT attack him directly. Instead possition yourself so that you can backflip onto one of the sliding platforms, you only have a short time to make your move! Use bomb arrows to blast one of the four chains on the corners of the arena. Then return to the platform, as you knock out the chains, double dragon will become more and more helpless. Uppon the fourth chain you can chose between any of the moving platforms (which have stopped moving by now) Quickly launch bomb arrows at certain points in the central pillar underneath the fighting platform. The pillar gives in, and the doubledragon is dragged to hell where he belongs! Tada, congratulations you've just taken down the king of all dragons, well his little brother anyway. Chalk another one up on your blade and walk to the center platform that's created by the four platforms merging together. Now claim your prize and heart container and get out of there quick, the lava's rising! That's right, you heard me...that's the SUB-boss, honestly if I'm gonna get an awesome and powerfull tool like that I would want to WORK for it...wouldn't you? EDIT: forgot it's attacks Quake attack: one heart per stone that hits you flame attack: three hearts Ice attack: three hearts freezes you. Collecting the wrong attack has same effect as Twinrova in OOT This does five hearts of damage Mele attacks (all): two hearts, four hearts if he grabs or chomps you!

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
Hylian Royal Brigadier, Basil Von Kaapo :::
Appearance: Basil is the 2nd in command of the Hylian Royal Army, only taking orders from General Keeta, even if the king says otherwise. Basil stands about 6,3, he is best know as being the crazy member of the army and leader of the Kaapo Korps. Basil wears a pair of glasses (With hypno swirls on the lens, adding to his maddened look) and some note that he looks quite intelligent. He has messy crimson colored hair, and though some say he wouldn't appear quite muscular, he is mostly covered in armor and cloth. A long red scarf encircles his neck and trails down to the ground. On his back he carries a massive shield, green and spiked, his chest and gut is covered by golden armor and displays little weakness between the two armors. Instead of carrying a blade, or gun like his superior, he has two other armor like attachments on his arms, but cover the top of his hands and curl into vicious claws. His legs are covered by similar armor but lack the offensive capacity, none the less a stomp of kick has the capacity kill or maim should it land a good hit. Finally, Basil seems to have a bad posture, leaning forward slightly due to the weight of his armor. When angered, Basil is noted to have a crazed look upon his face, twisted and insane. Reward: Basil acts as a mini-boss, a tough one at that. Defeating Basil grants two items to the victor, the first being a hookshot, a weapon often refined to high ranking officers, and also Basil's personal treasure, The Blast Mask... (Keeta is known to have collected many of the masks from MM, and has distributed some to his favorite soldiers, he rewarded Basil with the Blast Mask) Weapons/Attacks: Basil relies on his strength but also shows himself to be capable at magic and other such attacks. Basil's primary attack is a slash with his claws, which can cause massive damage (an X swing, that is both claws in a path that follows an X will cause a loss of 3 hearts), however, besides the use of his claws, if the player tries to circle around they might be struck with a kick and should they get to close in general, a shove could send the player flying. Basil also has a variety of potions, specifically for the use as incendary weapons. Swallowing down a red potion in a spiral glass will allow Basil to 'breath' fire, or even spite forth fireballs. The fire is short lived and will disperse on its own. There is also a blue potion that sllows for blue fire. Also, Basil makes use of his hookshot, the weapon showing its worth... while it cannot pull the massive Basil to location, should the player be caught they will be brought to the claws of Basil Von Kaapo. DEFEATING BASIL: At first, Basil will seem invincible. The sword will have no effect on his armor, arrows will break and even bombs do little as he withdraws into his armor, which takes the impact gracefully. However, Basil will make a mistake just once, his weight playing against him as he falls over and is unable to get back due to shock. This shows his weakness, that long red scarf he wears being the target. With links power gloves he can grab the scarf, and spinning on his heels send the Brigadier into the distant wall. This will have to happen three times, and as you do so he will differentiate between fire and claw, each time growing more violent and maddened, shown not only in attacks but his actions. After his first mix up, the player can cause him to trip but going around to the back of Basil, he will attack with a kick, should the player dodge the kick, they will have an oppurtunity to strike the other exposed leg and send him to the ground. However, after sending Basil into the wall three times, one of the walls shall give, revealing that it was storing gun powder. One more spin, sending Basil into the powder room will end the battle with an explosion... Basil, to heavy to be launched away will be blasted nearby, defeated but not dead allowing for the player to strip him of weapons and rupees. NOTE: As with so much of my work, I like to reference many things and in this case you might note that the characters appearance is similar to the of Bowser from Mario, and in particular the battle is similar to the one with Bowser in Mario 64. Still, a fun battle referencing the good ole days. |

DARK link as a boss maybe ???
A type of shadow temple similar to the twilight temple, link enters a roundish like boss room. he walks around then looks up. a dark substance hangs from the ceiling it suddenly drops. link quickly rolls out of the way. the substance slowly starts to rise then without warning lunges itself at link. link puts up his shield to defend himself but the dark substance seems to pass through him entirely. link looks infront of him then left to right but sees nothing. He turns around to see a mirror image of himself, but its...DARK. the substance seems to have adopted links appearance!
DARK link sort of like the one in SSBB (and the mini boss in the water temple in OoT but much more defined and powerfull) he will have all your weapons and all your weaknesses. though dark link can hover and run a bit faster than you, and his attacks are twice as powerfull. there could be a number of ways to defeat your Evil twin. take him in combat (this would be hard and take a while) when hitting him he will fall back and his chest will be open . hurry and shoot some light arrows at him! (if theres even any light arrows in the next zelda game) you could distract dark link while whoever your companion is in the game ( perhaps the master sword lady) could do.. well ..whatever they do to attack. there could also be sunlight or something that you can activate in the room then use maybe perhaps the mirror shield similar to the Ikana castle boss battle, to direct light at the DARK link . depending on how far you are in the game will determine the difficulty of the boss just an idea. |

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
Miniboss: Toxicial plant, Glavedrin
Being the miniboss of Korok woods, Glavedrin has housed in the B4 chamber, the most underground chamber in the woods apart from Florentinas chamber. Glavedrin is most vigorous plant. He first is a simple flying peahat. But then, he grows his propels larger, surrounding his body with petal leafs. Then the propellers grow to so big, that he can fly up in the skies. He is now thrice the size of Link. His propellers also act as whips. If you don't move, Glavedrin will get you in his hold. Whipslash does ½ heart damage. Petal smack does 1 heart damage. And if you get eaten, you receive 1½ heart damage. When he fires one of his whips at you, dodge it and hit it instantly with sword you probably end up with one or two hits, before the whip returns. The objects is to hit each of the five whips 2 times. If you do, the whips die. Now, when he uses his Petal smack, run to the petal and get inside. Hit the peahat couple of times, and you'll win. If you don't hit the plant so much that it dies, you shoot out and receive 1 heart damage. When the plant dies, you see that the whips fuse into a weapon. It's Boomerang. This miniboss has 2 Hp in each of his whips. The core peahat has 5 Hp. So the health of this miniboss is 15 Hp. (third temple of the game) Swordslash does 1 Hp, Spin attack or jump attack 2 Hp. Ghost of the evil, Ghost warrior Ganondorf created this ghost as his servant, and his last-minute aid. He gave this ghost all his skills. This makes Ghost warrior extremely talented swordsman, and lethal in every way. One would have to be superior to Ganon himself to beat the ghost. Ghost warrior is not widely known to exist, because mostly Ganon uses the other member of the spirits; Phantom Ganon. While talented as sorcerer, Phantom Ganon is no match as with skills to Ghost warrior. Start and arena As you open the final door in Ganondorf's tower guarded by 4 Skelatal Swordsmans, you notice that the room is quite large, rectangular with Ganondorf in the center. He notices you and starts to talk. "It's very impressive that you have made it to here. Unfortunately, you have to submit to the same faith as your predecessors. You shall fall into eternal slumber." Now Ganondorf disappears and you'll see that barriers start to form. hitting this barrier in battle results 1 heart loss. A circular area has formed. You see that in front of you something starts to glow. You once hear Ganondorf laughing, and then you'll see that the glow turns darker, becoming humanlike and finally dropping to the ground. Name of the boss and the title of it appear, and then the battle begins. Ghost warrior is about big as Ganondorf, being twice the size of Link. He holds a big mace in his hand. He is completely black, but glows purple on the edges. While it may not seem like it, he's extremely fast. He's also very aggressive. If you are more than 1.5 seconds still, you probably get hurt. He does not hold armor but handles defensive tactics very well. In the first stage, you must whack the smack ot of Ghost warrior by using your sword. First you have to dodge his attacks then when one of his attacks go wrong, you have to attack him. This is why it is difficult: you never know in what points do you have to attack him. You have to recognize the points where he makes a mistake and attack him. If it hits, he is dealed damage. Remember that only some attacks may get errored. But remember, even the first phase has 15 Hp. Attacks in Phase 1: Vertical smash Ghost warrior takes his sword, swings it in a circle upwards and smacks it down. Being powerfull, it does 2 hearts damage. Dodge it by very swiftly backfliping or sidestepping. You have to predict this attack from the circle he makes, otherwise it hits. Usually error in this stage may be that he hits it little to the side, so that you can hit him couple of time before he blocks. Horizontal Slash Ghost warrior swings his mace quite widely to side so that it sweeps across the front of him. If it hits, it also throws Link quite a bit to the wall, doing also damage from that. This attack does 2 heart damage, plus the damage from hitting the wall (1 heart). Error usually occurs in the charging stage where he can lose his balance. This opens himself for an attack. 10-hit combo Ghost warrior takes his mace to the side, and then starts to slash vigorously in many ways. Block it with shield, sidestep, roll and backflip. You can improvise quite alot of here for how do you want to block. Each hit does ½ heart damage. Error can occur in many places, so this is kinda hard to search for it. Usually it can be thrust getting to wrong direction, causing error in balance, or swipe going to far. Spin-rampage Classic attack. The mace in Ghost warriors hands starts to glow. Quickly he starts to spin. Roll from it, you cannot block it by shield. Eventually it is faster than rolling, so roll underneath it to dodge it. Single hit from this does 1 ½ heart damage. (It can hit you multiple times) Usually error occurs if it loads it too long or gets dizzied after it. Mace throw Ghost warrior throws his mace at you, very much like Darknuts in TP. Ghost warrior however throws his mace faster, and after it hits one of the wall, it breaks into five magic impulses who search for Link. Each one of these impulses does ½ heart damage. After the mace has been broken, a new one automaticly regenerates. If the mace hits Link, it doesn't hit the wall. Hit from the Mace does 3 heart damage. This attack errors rarely, and if it does the mace does not regenerate swiftly as it should be. Giant Swipe Most dangerous attack. Ghost warrior takes his mace to the side, where it starts to glow. He then swings it with enormous force to Link, which throws him at the wall and stuns him. Hit from this does 5 hearts damage. Error cannot occur in this attack. You must dodge this by rolling underneath it, or backflipping constantly. Error cannot occur in this attack. Hit from Master sword does 2 Hp, Power attack (Spin attack or Jump attack) does 4 Hp. Other weapons won't affect ghost warrior. In phase 2, there is no form alteration, but the mechanics get different. You won't see it but the battle music changes to different tune (Put volume on). The tune gets more instruments and becomes little like the music from Puppet Ganons second stage in WW. Now, he won't make any more errors, so you can't search for them. Instead, you notice that a point in his robe is glowing purple. You must now hit this spot thrice with light arrows. You can slow Ghost warrior temporarily down by hitting light arrows at him. However, it's still near imposibble to get him slowed down so you can hit the orb. (No Z-targeting) That's why you can use couple of hits from master sword while you have slowed him down with Light arrows. this stuns him for 2 seconds or so, so you can hit the orb. However, aim quickly because you still won't have much time. If you manage to hit him thrice, the tune gets a little different. Phase 3. hitting him with light arrow to stun him isn't very easy. He can dodge the arrows if you load too long, and he moves very fast. Attacks in Phase 2: Look for phase 1 attacks, except no errors. In Phase 3, the battle is the same as in phase 1, except you have to hit him only once, and there are very little errors. The music is fastpaced. after he has done the error, you have to hit him once. After this hit you see that the sign for A button is flashing. Press it and Link hits him with his sword to the orb. A cutscene is shown, where the ghost is fading, the soul comes out of it and explodes. Then you'll see how Ghost warrior fades to black (Great song, you should listen it). There is no heart container awarded, but now, that the barrier fades, and the two dark doors leading to Ganondorfs hall open. You can take some hearts and fairy from the pot before goping to Ganondorf. Attacks in Phase 3: Look for phase 1 attacks. |

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
A boss that wanders the great desert between the Gerudo Fortress and the Desert Temple
the player can simply avoid it, but if you beat it the Desert Temple will be much easier with the item it drops. Part 1 The battle is about Link trying to shot the Gerudo riding the giant beast (god), if Link succeed, the Gerudo will loose control for some minutes of the boss, so Gedos (the boss) will start to run around like a blind boar trying to hit someone, Link will have to call it's attention using arrows or the Longshot, the player must make the boss run in the direction of a large rock block, making it hit its head on it and get stunned for some minutes, that's when the player will have to climb Gedos and fight the Gerudo controlling it. As soon Link make the first successful hit on the Gerudo, Gedos will wake up and start running, making the wind push Link to the edges. Part 2 It's about Link fighting the Gerudo (that has the exactly same battle style as a Darknut), but with the wind getting in the way of Link (if Link try to use jumping attacks he will certainly fall from Gedos). If by any motive Link fall from Gedos he will have to redo the Part 1 again. End If Link succeed on beating the Gerudo, he will receive the the Desert Guide (a rod used to control the Desert God), when the player receive this item he'll have the chance to choose between making Gedos attack the Gerudo town or releasing it. If you attack the town all the Gerudos in Gerudo Town will move to Gerudo Fortress, and Gedos will stay @ the town, and won't let you go to the Endless Desert again. If you release Gedos, you'll be accepted as one of the Gerudos and will be able to use the Gerudo Shop the Desert Guide is used in the Desert Temple boss fight to stun the boss for some seconds, and nothing more Gedos Story: Before the Gerudo become the great race of the desert, the wastelands was a place ruled by evil creatures, and the Gerudo were their slaves. One of these Gerudos were named, Neruu, she was taken as a sex slave of a great demon king of the desert, but the caravan that was taking Neruu to the demon king was attacked by an ancient beast of the desert, a beast that the weaker creatures of the desert considered to be a god, Gedos. Only Neruu survived the attack, and before Gedos killed her too, she said she would server it eternally if she let her go, Gedos accepted, and the Neruu asked Gedos to free her people and in exchange Gedos could have her soul, Gedos refused, but proposed another thing, all the Gerudo males would be sacrificed to him and he would make the Gerudo the mightiest of all races of the Desert, weirdly Neruu accepted, but with one condition, that at least one Gerudo male could live, Gedos accepted and so it made the Gerudo the strongest race of the Desert, but as time passed, the love the Gerudo felt for Gedos turned into hate, many Gerudos started to worship the Desert Colossus, and when Gedos became so hate to the point of Gerudos spit on it's statues, it decided to attack the Gerudo, but the Desert Colossus protected them and cursed Gedos to wander the Endless Desert for all eternity, but Gedos also cast a curse on the Colossus, turning her into a giant statue of rock, that would later become the Spirit Temple. But recently a Gerudo seemed to take control of Gedos using the Desert Guide and is attacking everyone that cross her way. ![]()

Giant Omnipotent Arachnid: Queen Ghoma
Looks a lot like Armoghoma except five times stronger and larger. Somehow aquires the Triforce of Power from Ganon after TP. The Triforce of Power is embedded in it's underbelly. This is where you attack it. The item you use against it is the fire rod. It's attacks are- Slash 1/2 heart, Eye Laser 2 hearts, Crushing you 4 hearts. Once you defeat it the threat of Ganon is gone for hundreds of years

[QUOTE=If Link succeed on beating the Gerudo, he will receive the the Desert Guide (a rod used to control the Desert God)/QUOTE]
The desert guide seems kind of like the dominion rod from TP maybe you could change it to a different kind of item, make it original. Other than that great idea. ![]() |

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
I want a boss that really "scares" me. One of the incarnations of Majora did that to me. I don't remember what it was called, but it was the one that had a sort of body, and it ran around the room screaming and flailing itself around. That scared me. Even Zant scared me (sort of...). It wasn't the actual boss fight with him, but the sheer craziness he had, screaming and jumping around the room gave me a flicker of fear. Most bosses don't give me that feeling. When a fictional boss can give me fear, I'm happy...or at least not bored.

I don't need to be afraid of a boss to be satisfied in beating it. I just would like to be thinking Ohhhh ***t when it wakes up and starts glaring at me. Stallord was the ONLY boss so far that made me do that, I dunno but it was probably the fact that it was a FOSSIL! Ganon from OOT made me freak out a little when it was forming but then I just rolled my eyes when they took the master sword away. BTW, was anyone ELSE pissed at Navi when she said she'd help you fight Gannon in OOT but she doesn't know the weakness? That freaky dragon thing in the fire temple was the same, "Volvega is an ainchent lava dragon revived by the evil king, I don't know it's weakpoint!" xD

As for Navi, no matter how loyal and true she was to Link, she was virtually useless!!! Sure, she did tell you how to beat many bosses (although I rarely, if ever, needed her). I was confused when she said that, when fighting Ganon, she would help you, and he couldn't keep herself and Link apart, and then she did nothing! Yes, I definately know what you mean. |

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
hehehe, zant wasn't crazy, he just sat there in his throne drinking red bull until link got to him rofl.
Actually the only bosses that freak me out are the grose ones, like the really, really grose kind that u can't even tell what it is! I'm speaking of course about Barinade in OOT, now that was a weird boss. (I was about twelve when MM came out, got the gold "special eddition" cartrage too ) It even died in a grose way, being covered in unsightly boils and then exploding, no wonder link's shirt was green xD Pluss Ruto really annoyed me too. "Hey you're late! You were cool, or cooler than I thought you were" I was like what did that mean?! O_0It is scary when you don't know what to expect, but it's worse when you do expect it and then something else happens. A good boss needs to be challenging(and scary xD), not complicated, I'd prefer both though! ^_^ Alf Wa Lay Wa Al Way La (at least I think that's how it's spelled) in Sonic and The Secret Rings was a freak! He threw tons of partially unavoidable moves at you, then when you survived those he threw this big death ball that you couldn't dodge. You needed to use the FULL soal gage and speed break to beat it. I have to admit that a big muscular, purple skinned dude with freaky teeth, six arms, and a freaky tail thing is pretty scary, Especially considering he takes up half the screen! "I am Alf Wa Lay wa Al Way la, I AM the arabian knights, I will be it's new creator, I shall remake this world in my own image, the stories of this world are MIIIINNNNE!" rofl Funny that the more challenging bosses hardly ever come from the Zelda series no? Course any boss is hard when you're just a tiny blue hedgehog ![]()

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
Nightmare Leader Destruction
Phase 1: Destruction takes you back to the Fire Temple. Simply you must bomb him when he is about to attack. Phase 2: Now the stage switches over to the Forest Temple. here he will start raining blades down on you, while dodging, you will throw your boomerang at him. This will cause his next wave to get caught up and hit him. Phase 3: Sky Temple. His attacks are everchanging here as he can switch up his attacks. No pattern here.mostly dodge and counter. Phase 4: Water Temple. you are thrown into this grueling repeat of a battle previous this. The enemy will attack from any angle possible, dodging is actually relatively easy as the attacks are a bit slower than the normal boss's. Again dodge and try to counter. Phase 5: Shadow Temple. Destruction will send you into the pitch black darkness and attack you with a "pet". Destroy the pet to move on. Phase 6: Beast temple. This is by far the hardest section of the battle yet. There are holes all over the arena. Destruction will randomly pop up from one and attack. Fire and arrow before he attacks to stun. Repeat until transported. Phase 7: 1:1 sword battle. Somehow your MSOL got locked and must use your starter sword. Howeer, Destruction is in the same boat as you. The attacks are weaker as you are using a weaker sword, but the damage done to him is still enough. Just try to hack and slash at him to get an opening. Phase 8: You both suddenly don your Armor. (don't ask) The MSOL is available to you and must be used from here on out. his sword moves are a bit frantic, but you can easily block them. Phase 9: Due to an unfortunate mishap with two of your items, you are transformed into some sort of humanoid beast. Destruction notices and transforms into a beast himself. You will do a claw to claw, fang to fang sort of battle here. Phase 10!: Finally, Link will don his Armor again and stay in Beast form. This is the hardest part of the battle as you are dodging a sword, claws, and fangs all the while you are in the air and on the ground fighting. Final Cutscene: Both figures go black. You are unable to depict who is who. Then, one gets a blade to the chest; the other, a blade to the shoulder. Both fall over, but who is the one alive?

Re: Official Ideas for Future Bosses Thread
I think that a good boss for the game would be an older version of link, like in OoT, Where you can travel back in time, exept Link allies with Gannon and aggrees to suicidaly take out young Link so Gannon will have no opposition. He will have all kinds of attacks and sword techniques, but almost no items, and then he will basically try to assasinate young link. At first he rocks, and destroys link, but then doesn't want to hurt link. Like I said, he has very few items but then as the game goes on, you get items, thus giving him more items and making him better. At the end, old Link is good again, and helps defeat Gannon. That is a really cool plot for a game, I think, and it kind of counts as a boss.
