A game starring Dark Link

I think Dark Link would be a perfect main charecter in a Zelda game! Dark Link is summoned by Ganon to find the Triforce! Dark Link must beat Link to the Triforce and give it to Ganondorf! At the end, you would fight Link. Though, I don't think many people would want to kill Link, so I think:

A. Link should be fought until he is almost dead.
B. This game is non-canon (isn't part of the real timeline).

Also, this game could star a possessed Link, who is made evil by Ganondorf. Then at the end he turns good and fights Ganondorf. What do you think?

It could work as an unlockable subgame in a future Zelda. Not a full game though.

It's an interesting twist: I like to see what the plot is like from the evil side's point of veiw.

Maybe Dark Link does things Link would never do?

(Like he would steal potions and items instead of paying for them or instead of helping people find whatever it is they lost, he just ignores them)

I think that playing as Dark-Link..er....would be..Ok i guess.
I would never hurt Link at all, when he get's hurt during a game and I'm the one playing i hate myself but back on topic When at the ending playing Dark Link, Zelda should be the one to realease the Darkness from him and make him turn Back into Link! <3
If not then at the end Dark Link should battle Link, Link should get hurt a bit *sobs*
then once he is up again Dark Link is about to finish him when we found out that Dark link is really...

Hmmm stealing potions would make the game a little to easy. Dark Link can't just walk into a town and be welcomed, he is evil. I imagine the until of Hyrule would be after him.

Dark Link? A playable "character"? Come on. Even I know better that. A costume, maybe. Adding a true doppelganger persona, perhaps. But not making an entire Zelda game based around him as a playable character.

Dark Link is nothing more than the final boss of AoL, a miniboss in OOT, and an annoyance in FSA. He doesn't deserve his own game.

I think this would be neat, but this should be extra content that should be unlocked in a future zelda title, rather than a whole game itself.

No. dark link suck. there are already too many ''dark characters'', think of shadow the hedgehog, darks samus, and alot of other crap.

Actually I'm starting to find that the dark characters are all too similar to each other in a way. They even added a Dry Bowser (dark looking Bowser) in Mario Kart Wii! I mean, what the-?

But isn't Shadow a separate characters from Sonic? Dark Link is like a twin of Link...

I like the idea of Link becoming dark or evil/a dark link in a game... gradually... because of some story driven element. But not so much just a Zelda game starring Dark Link.

I suddenly see a Ganon's Puppet Link in front of me! O__O Ehehhehehe...

Your right. Not nessacery Dark Link, but Link getting possessed by Ganon is a cool idea.

I've never been a fan of Dark Link. I feel like it's an overly obvious idea that lacks originality. Little more could be made of a simple shadow copy of Link than a miniboss in a temple or a metaphorical figure in a cutscene. I've never perceived Dark Link as "bad-ass" just because he is our favorite green-clad hero with a bucket of black paint dumped over him.

I would never want him as a main villain in a Zelda game, and didn't like him in Four Swords Adventures, either.

Dark Link was a main villain already. Ever hear of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link?

The one where Link gets corrupted/loses his memory sounds like a cool idea. However, playing as the real Dark Link probably wouldn't work since Link would have to kill you in the end.

Well, I thought it would be unfair to Dark Link fans to bring up what is, IMO, the worst Zelda game ever made. Dark Link is one of the better parts in that dreadful, dreadful game.

it would be cool to play a possessed link,and to be turned good again by zelda,and then defeat ganondorf.i would love to play as him and she whats it like working for ganon.
