Re: [Official ]Valley of the Flood / Deluge Thread

^exactly, now we have to wait another 4 years after the announcement to make it more awesome than Project Deluge.

Interesting note: The Wii was Project Revolution. So this deluge thing could be a working title. As well as the story.

If that's the case, then their scheme is a total failure. This has fanfic written all over it.

I do believe that Zelda will be announced at E3 (Again, only announced, nothing radical like trailers and tons of info). If not at E3, then at GDC or Spaceworld or any other conference they'll hold this year.

I'm all for remakes though. Some people can't enjoy the old games due to the graphics being outdated and the games being close to impossible to beat for younger gamers. Remakes would probably solve that problem and would allow them to enjoy the old Zelda games, but with prettier graphics and (hopefully) better gameplay.

I don't think there were any, unless he was referring to the gameinformer statement which says that Zelda Wii has been in development for a year (which at the moment means for two years). Could that be it?

^Can't be, I think he specifically mentioned it by name
EDIT: Just checked the interview, 'Kyle' didn't mention the game by name, but Aonuma either let it slip, or said it with enough familiarity that 'Kyle' already knew what it was. You can't really tell because we don't have audio.

Hm, well I'm royally confused in that case. "Kyle" really should have taped this instead of making it into a text interveiw, but that could also be easily faked. Would it really be that hard to copy Aunoma's voice?

Nope, but if I can almost acurately copy shaggy, chewbacca, rodney dangerfeild, ozzy osbourne, Ed and Edd (from Ed, Edd, and Eddy), Patrick Star, Spongebob Squarepants, Dave Chappele's white guy impression and his yell, and many more, then it shouldn't be that hard.

Edit: And John Madden, Bill Deautreive, Nancy Gribble, Beavis, Butthead, Frito (Idiocracy), George Bush, George H.W. Bush, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Carl Rumsfeld, Dick Cheny, Alf, Michelangelo from TMNT, Doctor Rockso the Rock n' Roll Clown, and more but I can't remember them all.

point taken.

Well, I guess we'll never know if this is fake or not until Nintendo unveil the true nature of Zelda Wii.

Which is at the moment in eight days, plus the three extra that E3 takes place on. I suppose we must be patient until it comes along, and try to focus on other things. Speaking of which, I really need to get working on that summary, I'm already a day late with hardly any proggress.

I agree with this statement. Using this logic OoT is fake because Hyrule doesn't look the same as it did in the original LoZ

I don't think we know the ending of this fake game yet, it's possible to win and have hyrule flood, to have the main character save someone or learn something from his journey.

and end up creating a split timeline. Which would only add to the confusion even more.
