Zelda RPG

Now when discussing in this forum people only seem to talk about the future of Zelda console games and rarely about the future of Zelda handheld games. Seeing that past Zelda handheld games are usually not to serious about itself, maybe the next installment, on the handheld, should in fact be an RPG. It could either be like tales of symphonia style where you only able to pull off moves when you're in battle or in could be Pokemon style where you battle using menus. I'm not saying that it has to be either one of these options, but it just might be crazy enough to work? I know I'd like to see a Zelda game like this on the DS, So how about you?

... I don't know. Nope, the only time I've ever played a turn-based rpg I liked was With Pokemon R, B, Y, G, and S, and EARTHBOUND. No, when the next Zelda handheld does come out, It should be something new, but it also should reinvent the genre IF it does play like this. The only reason that Miyamoto hasn't been doing this with Zelda (though he did do Super Mario Galaxy), is because he is Commander-in-chief of Operation W.I.I.

Now Little Big Planet comes out soon, MGS4 is already out, I'm buying a PS3 to go along with the Wii in my house, and it makes me get an idea. What if the PSP and DS were fused together?

Yes, Nintendo should forge an alliance with Sony, like the PSX was originally supposed to be, give motion and stylus controls to the latest tech, and there you go, the PSWii!

Back to topic...

If this does come to a vote between PKMN and ToS, I give support to neither, It sould be a real-time RPG, like Kingdom Hearts but way harder.

Funny, just the other day I was thinking Zelda mmorpg like warcraft, some of my friends are hounding me to try warcraft, not into rpg's but a Zelda based version of warcraft would intrest me.

I don't think Nintendo will make a Zelda RPG. But I am accually making a board game that is a cross between Zelda and D&D.

PH is virtually breaking sales records for handhelds.

I doubt they venture much, at least in the next installment, from that style.
