What you want in the next Zelda Game

Hello. Im new here & I was wondering what other people thought should be in the next zelda game...



I for one would like to see it:

Bring Back time Factor - im not saying use Majoras 3day system again, but make time a factor, as it can evolve the social game.


Have A scary Dungeon - (Credit to other posters on this site) I think there should be a dungeon where theres a Freak Boss that, suspensefully roams around unbeatable, until you get a later Item.
Needs to be dark and it has to have a dark soundtrack.
Also they should make Monsters, such as ReDeads, pop up on the screen, Screaming bloody murder, lol.

History - (again credit to posters here) The article about Majoras Message got me thinking this game needs a great story - backed with untouchable history.

Character Interaction - MM is my fav zelda game largely in part due to that I absolutely loved the character cast whether they had big roles or not.

Ikana Like setting - Not for the whole layout, but I would like a place similar to Ikana to be the Primary Battle Place.


Things I dont want:
Hyrule - as awesome as Hyrule is, its been overdone and we need to give it a break.

A sequal to TP - ugghh TP was torterous enough no sequal please.

Artistic or Cartoon game - Most people act like these are the only two choices. Id like something in the middle.

Hyrule is a must, i love the familiarity i've with it

Definatly a realistic style game, it feels far more adult...i loved WW...but...hmmm

At some point there should be a siege on hyrule castle

I'd hate to have the whole time thing being involved..that sucked.

ohhh and...

re-vamp epona, give her armour

both horse transportation and boat transportation.

The Boat/Horse transportation would be nice, mainly if they made a great mixture between Land/Sea.

I would also like for its gameplay to be as compact as Majora (there was literaly something to do every square inch) and have it larger then any zelda game to date.

I a TP sequel was held in Termina... I would go for it.
But if they do make a P.II, they need to learn from TPs mistakes.

I'd really like to see a Link that can talk and multiplayer would be nice

new cool items and the ability to use different types of spells of magic,
or even a game that the weilders of the triforce have to team up against a greater evil.
anyone remember that scene in sse in brawl were the 3 of them just look at eachother and without fighting they go in search of tabuu for the final battle and i think their triforce marks in their hand start to shine that was just epic

IDK about the rest of the zelda fans but I like that Idea.

I think itd be cool to see Link & Ganondorf team up, momenterally against a greater force.

I always liked the idea of Link helping defend Hyrule Castle from a siege. And prehaps even lanching his own siegn on Ganon's Castle.

yea, that would be cool Link with Hylian knights. It would also be cool if you could choose a general and obtain territory and sometimes it's under attack just like GTA SA.And it's not only Hylian territory and Ganondorfs territory but also Goron, Zora, ect...
and you can befriend them to get the territoy or fight them.

Anything that resembles MM

I want them to give the full middle fig to fans and do whatever they want to make the this the "SMG" of the LoZ series (give people what they don't know they want).

Really, following what fans thought they wanted is what lead to TP aka OoT 2. Sold really well ( and I personally LOVED the game) but the blacklash proves that following what people think they want doesn't work with LoZ fans atleast fans.

I want them to focus on making a great game and allowing the devs to let loss like they did in MM.

Other than that, I want them to make a new, freash art style cause TP was kinda too brownish and uninteresting to me (caused by the whining for a realistic looking OoT 2) and WW style doesn't look too good to me.

And IDK why people like to only look at WW and TP for style thoughts. . . theres no limit to what design choice they can take.
