i think a fairy should help its more original

Zelda. She gets such little screentime and character development in The Legend of ZELDA, her own series. She has the Triforce of Wisdom; being Link's guide would let her put that wisdom to good use. Plus, she'd be much less irritating than Navi.

I think maybe anyone of either being a human or another creature, but with a quest to retrieve something that they have lost and need.

I'm not really sure... I wouldn't mind. The fairies are great with Link.

I said that because whenever I play OoT I keep antecedently say that i don't get what he means so I have to listen to him like 50 times

I would've saaid Midna, or Link's ghost, but people picked multiple people, and i thought about it logicly.

No one. He should be able to finish his journey on his own, I'm just tired of someone that gives you advice of something you already know. Like Navi in OoT and Midna in TP, I think it's just frustrating when they say something

I wouldn't mind if a new sub-character helped link with more minor stuff, but i agree with
axavier that zelda should play a bigger part in helping you. moreso then any other game before. or maybe like parts of WW, when tetra uses that rock thingy to help out

Eh, voted no one. I would like to see them show us what it's like for Link to single-handedly overcome a quest. The sidekick usually steals the spotlight, too, makes it less interesting.

Sort of like he did in LoZ, AoL, and ALttP!
I agree with CWP. The games are more enjoyable without some "helper" telling you where to go or what to do next.
