the next hyrule (map)

here's a map that I took 2 hours out of my time to create. Enjoy!

Also, you can post your own maps. So this thread should be filled with them.

I will put all of your maps on this post and rate them. So you can also say this is a bit of a contest.

Feel free to comment on maps and such.

Remember, this is a speculation and obviously not the real map.

Ok, I see now, you didn't elaborate before you edited the posts. I thought you were trying to say that this was the confirmed map for the next Zelda. So yeah, sorry if I came off as a jerk.

I did, but when I posted all that was there was the picture. I didn't see that you edited your post until after I had finished posting, and when I saw your edit, I edited my post accordingly.

it's okay. i just wanted to post the map first and then edit the post to show what this thread is about. Obviously, you're a quick poster!

The map looks good, but many places just come out of nowhere, and there's no way I can relate it to previous maps. Maybe you could edit it by changing the names and locations of things (I think a rotation could work wonders) to make it seem more like Hyrule and not Lord of the Rings?

seriously though, TStarboy pretty much covered what i was gonna say

The map itself looks nice, but the location names don't relate to any previous locations in Hyrule. As TSarboy said, the names sound like... random Lord of the Rings names. Replace them with the names of Zelda locations, and the overall layout of the map is really creative and splendid. It's different than the "standard" Hyrule.

the map looks good in my opinion but it doesnt seem to have that hyrule feel to it

I think his map is awesome considering it was made in Paint! I love drawing maps for the heck of it!! Epona is going to be tired, hopefully there will be the option of warping in the next one, if the world is huge.

The map btw, without looking at the locations, is much more interesting looking than the official maps. I'd love to see a world shaped like that.
