Play as Zelda?

I think that would be pretty cool. Kinda like wolf link in TP. You might have to gain an item after a challenge, but then be able to go between both forms. It would be fun.

As a few other people have said, I think that it would be cool to have one with two players- where you control Zelda and Link at the same time. It would be a nice change, and my brother and I would be able to help each other out.

Even if it's not that, a game starring Zelda/Sheik would be pretty neat.

That's true, I didn't think of that. Maybe you had to unlock a certain spell or something to do it then, makes more sense.

That's not a valid reason, considering most of us had proved reasons how she could do what link is capable of, though in her own way.

People who think Zelda can't do things that Link can do... That's very cruel considering I am a female, do you think that females are incapable of doing things that a man can? Like play a game of football? Thats just plain mean! I hate men who are like that. Women are capable of anything they would like to try. Like Hillary Clinton was the first women to run for president in the U.S.A!


Anyways, what Tri-Edge said before, there are alot of possibillites about this! Zelda has powers, she can use them in battles and for puzzles. Sheik can do tons of stuff that I know I can't do (Bad reflexes, ugh!)! Some people are just to scared to face the fact that Zelda can do more than we think she can! She became a pirate in Windwaker! She helped Link in OoT and a few other games! Nintendo is making her less a damsel in distress, and more of a warrior princess!

Dang, thats the first time i've seen a post like that From The_Hylian! But she has a point.
. Don't forget that Zelda sealed Ganon away into the sacred realm!

She also helped Link during TP, shooting Light Arrows and such.
Her appearance in TP doesn't appeal to me as a damsel in distress either. I second the warrior princess part.

What are you apologizing for? You spoke truth and I've seen way longer posts. I have no objections to what you said.

You know...I have seen a thread like this somewhere in the General Zelda section...oh well. Zelda as a playable character is an awesome idea! Everyone's already said what Zelda can do, but you should also consider how it would change the normal story of Zelda. Instead of the usual Link, who is always a country bumpkin saving the world, you'd have a powerful, recognized princess. And has anyone considered the story of Sheik? When Link dissapeared for seven years, Zelda couldn't have been doing nothing. I'd say you've got a great plot right there!

You've also got to remember Super Smash Bros; Zelda was no damsel in distress there! You don't have to wield a sword and shield to be a hero, plus I made some of my greatest victories with Zelda!

Diversifying the Zelda series by actually playing Zelda sounds like a great idea to me!

The game should take place before the great flood, when Ganondorf escaped from the sacred realm. (But zelda would be dead wouldn't she...)

I think that would be a great idea!

If this were to be after tp or sometething that would be good. We have the shadow place(to lazy to remember name) so our enemy could come from there.
I am actually hopin for vatti cause he has never been made 3D. But vatti could steal link insted of zelda lock him away or something and the begginig is played by zelda. Then she has the abbility to become shiek as link would have the ability to become his wofl form.And besides her shiek form(to any one who says she has no powers) She has

• telepathy to talk to link to or someone(z)
• pk power(lifting stuf with mind)(z)
• Enery ball(z)
• Chain(s)
• needles(s)
• teleport short distances(s+z)
• Plus any items she can get her hands on

So as you can see zelda would make a great candidate to star in a game

but so far zeldas only alternate forms were tetra and sheik but they only appeared in one game with the acception of tetra who is to say that zelda would even transform?

no way link is the main character you can never take him out never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Link only has two forms, himself and wolf, and it's only appeared in TP. Who's to say they can't bring Sheik back. She's one of my favorite characters, I personally favor the idea. Why wouldn't she transform considering everyone (most people) know it would make a better game.

Kinda like in Paper Mario where you did certain sections as Princess Peace.

I'd be down to play as Zelda. Just need some kickass spells to go with it.

Dont go so far, i say just like we can play with kafei or baby goron in PH.

Has anyone played Star Fox Adventures where you play a lost female before you actually play fox on Gamecube? It could suit the gameplay of a Zelda game where you get to play Zelda and she witnesses some event before Link starts his adventure. Maybe to how and why she was captured and what happened.

I would like to play as Zelda, after all, the game is called 'Zelda'.
