Ok so I thought for a while....

And came up with a pretty darn good Elder Scrolls-like mega Zelda game. Please share your thoughts and comment my idea! You can add to it as well!


First, make the world alot bigger, like there is a huge section of sea like far off of Hyrule, and there is a boat like already on the shore. And then you can like harpoon fish and net them and stuff instead of just with a rod...Also, there could be new lands made for like each tribe like for Gorons, it could all be rocky and mountainous (sp?), the Zoras could be the sea part I described earlier. More creatures.In the sea there could be small islands or large islands that you can claim. So in those islands you can find an axe and chop some trees to make a little house. Maybe there can be a tribe and/or race in those islands too. Ok, a bit too much about the sea. On to land. You can find various horses, all varying in stats (like speed, stamina, health). Dodongos can be fought and while they are down, you can attempt to take care of them and become like transportation (slow and hulking transportation that can fight back if harmed). Of course there will be a Hyrule Castle with a marketplace and restaurants. Around Hyrule can be the Gerudo Desert and Haunted Wasteland, so that the desert can separate distant lands. The time can change depending on the time in your Wii. On to Weapons. Yes, the Master Sword will be back, but you can also choose to buy different weapons, like a 2 handed sword (Biggoron sword, but not like it). You can customize the color of the hilt, width and length of the sword. Same with shield. A crudload of sidequests, trying to make money, earning certain items depending on how well you did the quest. Oh and another thing....More clothes other than a darn tunic! I mean, dont you get kinda tired of the same tunics over and over? Adding a clothes shop in Hyrule Castle. More interaction with people in Hyrule Castle. FD Link can return, but it can be if you have completed all the quests the game has to offer. Once you defeated him (or it), you can buy his clothes or turn into him (or it). Villains. I don't expect Ganondorf AGAIN. Well, maybe but a bit harder and faster. Zant's spirit can be a boss as well. And MAYBE add a bit of Wi-FI to it. Trade items, customized weapons and shields, possibly SWORDFIGHTS! WOOT! Let's see about the Bow and Arrows....hmmm..Ok. Clawshots and Doubles will be back. But now, you can combine the Arrows with the Clawshot, increasing the range and when you reach your destination, you still keep the arrow! I also think the Crossbow form Crossbow Training (from The Wii Zapper) should be added. Hmm....Sticky Bombs should be in this. Optional to put time to blow up, so its like a Time Bomb, just very sticky. VERY IMPORTANT! Smarter AI. Man, I sure as hell HOPE this makes it. I doubt this can work as well, IF Nintendo takes parts of this idea, to make survival skills like hunt for raw meat, eggs from Cuccos, etc. and cook them in a fire. Pretty good, eh? I also came up with this very cool idea of becoming a different race if Wi-Fi was made for this. For example, you are tired of being Link (Which I highly doubt). Now you want to be, say, a Zora. Ok well you can in Wi-Fi! If it's your first time online, you create your very first, er, creature/ human! Don't worry; if you dislike the creation, you can delete it or you can make up to 5 characters. And I thought about something else related to the sea. When you find the tribe IF you do, (they will be well hidden, as like in camo hidden) you can join them and be their leader (since you have the better weapons). This is where it turns Battalion Wars-like, as you can leave them behind to guard something, and you can pick the amount of people guarding the object/person. You can also leave the tribe (I wouldn't do that though...). They can provide you with weapons and food and make them your 'slaves'. And when Link communicates with people or objects, he should make some type of movement. For example, if Link examines something, he should get closer and touch the object (in this case, a stone slab with drawings on it), look around it and stuff.

Well, this is the end of my horrifyingly long yet pretty good idea.

dude nice ideas, would you mind if i incorporate this into my forum (the one you just posted in), cause these ideas would work well into the new world and the game and your wi-fi features would work great as new tools for character customization, and zant could return the return to hyrule.

remember i plan on having this website (with all of our support) send the final idea to miyamoto for the game to be made (or a zelda staff member since miyamoto would probably want to mud up the story since he doesnt like games with deep stories).

I like most of the ideas. You are very creative, and I would love to play a Zelda game with all of what you talked about. Zant killed Ganondorf, so I am not sure if he is still going to be agianst Link, but if there is a GOOD story line with the game, I would play it.

haha i think we all should get equal credit, but i want this to also be a free idea for nintendo, but all the accounts that involve with the forum and forums i take ideas from should be mentioned in the special thanks in the credits of the game, or basically saying the ZU community.

I don't want money from this, playing the game would be reward enough (and maybe a Wii since i don't have one lol)

Yes, but I do not think this idea will go directly if not at all to Nintendo. It is an idea, not "The New Zelda Game".

im just saying in general people who respond to the idea is who im relating to, that counts as part of the community. seriously can you just drop it? i mostly just want to make the idea anyway i dont care if it becomes a game or not. Cant you just let me have fun with creating something new and just quit giving people reasons not to help create it, since they probably just want to contribute to the idea and they probably know its never going to happen anyway?
