A Wind Waker Trilogy?

Imagine a third to the wind waker. After all Phantom hourglass can't just be the end right?

As good as the Hero of Winds is, I honestly don't see this happening. It's been a tradition that every Link has two adventures. Usually one in Hyrule, and another outside of it. So if you want to talk about the next Zelda game, my bets are on:

1. A sequel to TP Link
2. A sequel to tMC Link
3. A completely different Link

But to just humor you, if there was a third Hero of Winds game, it would have to be about Link and Tetra finally finding a new continent that will be the new Hyrule (and my predictions would be, that it would look like FSA's world map layout considering it's surrounded by water).

if they find a new land, it might be that they return from sailing the ocean to find the koroks have succeeded in creating a new land, and this new land may be the Hyrule that is in MC/FS/FSA

Well just remember, TP was originally called The Wind Waker 2. It's likely that Nintendo had a story worked out for that, but they later changed it to TP's story. I doubt Phantom Hourglass is the entire story Wind Waker 2 was supposed to be.

What I'm saying is, there might still be another WW story out there.

Debatable. Even if this is true, ALttP only had LA at first and the OoX were designed to be something to be completely different from what they are now, regardless of their real timeline placement.

As to a WW sequel, I'd love one, have Link find his New Hyrule (which I personally believe isn't connected to the first three games, as they were either child timeline or Korok-created), perhaps even make it something completely different, a new continent of Hyrule to feature in new games.

It could change the series, if they wanted it to.

I'd like to add a big fat DUH to that.

As for ALttP: the only official sequel is LA. Some people consider OoX in the same arc, but they aren't.

Well, so far no Zelda story has become a triolgy, I can see WW having the potential. It would be nice to see Link discover a new Hyrule.

Wind Waker left such great hopes for a sequel, and Phantom Hourglass was a huge disappointment.

We were left with Link and Tetra setting off to find a new land. Tetra and her pirates were on the ship, and Link was sailing alongside on the KoRL (yet at the beginning of PH where was his boat?).

Moments before that we have the King, Zelda and Link talking about finding a new Hyrule, and in closing the King says "I have scattered the seeds of the future...". Those words gave me great excitement for that which was supposed to be TWW2.

Phantom Hourglass gave no such hint of the epic feeling I experienced at the end of Wind Waker.

So if you can't tell already I would LOVE to see a 3rd installment, though I'm afraid Nintendo ruined any chances of a true sequel to WW with PH.
